THE Nigerian Maritime Administration and Safety Agency, NIMASA, has concluded plans to take over security operations at the Secured Anchorage Area, SAA at Lagos anchorage, an area that was once operated by the Ocean Marine Solution Limited, OMSL.

Recall that the Federal Government about three weeks ago counselled the operation of OMSL.

NIMASA Vanguard gathered is to move one of assets of the deep Blue equipment ‘DB Lagos and DB Abuja to the anchorage to secure the area.

DB Lagos and DB Abuja two Multi-purpose security surveillance vessels the government acquired through the Integrated National security and waterways protection infrastructure project.
