LET'S PREY

How fast can I break this fast?
Put a gun to his head and have a blast?
Or a death so slow and ghast?
It's ours, to make the sweet sour,
To bring down the thriving tower,
To milk out the coward,
This is power,
And yours is ours,
Give me yours as I take mine,
The beautiful pay, the gorgeous fine,
Happy to express but it's sad to say
That this is the world we live in day by day.
To every Shark there's a Remora,
Behind every severity is an imposer,
Therefore, in our prayers, we pray that we prey,
It's just survival, no one is really out there to slay.

In the same situation,
We pray to stay alive while
they pray we don't survive,
A man's loss is another man's gain,
This is life and we're natural players of this game.

So let's prey,
The only way
To maintain
the length of breath.
Get preyed,
This way
you give
a life to death.

Life has left us with no choice,
You just have to choose,
To either break or bend to her rules...
