The immediate past service chiefs have arrived at the Senate for their screening as ambassadorial nominees.

The Senate President, Ahmad Lawan, had on February 10, directed the Committee on Foreign Affairs to confirm General Abayomi Olonisakin (retd); Lt-Gen. Tukur Buratai (retd); Vice Admiral Ibok Ekwe Ibas (retd); Air Marshal Sadique Abubakar(retd); and Air Vice Marshal Muhammad S. Usman (Rtd) as non-career ambassadors-designate to the Committee on Foreign Affairs.

The service chiefs arrived at the Senate around 11am for the screening.

Members of the panel, led by Senator Mohammed Bulkachuwa, held a 15-minute closed-session before commencing the screening.

From one lucrative position to another while there are other viable options and persons who would do the job better and probably haven't even held any lucrative positions once in their lives..

God will judge y'all

Nigerians are typical examples of slaves who love their chains. We love oppression, we love being robbed, beaten, cheated and lied to, we hate hearing the truth, and hate those who tell us the truth. This I have seen.

The President got it wrong on this one . No one rewards incompetences. Am not sure Mr Buhari is really abreast of the security situation in the country.

Isn't this funny?

Failed service chiefs are being rewarded with Ambassadorial appointment so they can have immunity right?

This country is a joke.

Even the Brits that joined us together conducted a referendum for their citizens to vote to leave the EU and they have left.... In Scotland now, an online poll was conducted and many citizens supports Scotland to leave the UK.

What I'm trying to say is that Nigeria is due for a referendum too... We can't continue living like this in this country with corruption, insecurity and nepotism being the order of the day.

Imagine failed security chiefs getting ambassadorial roles.

These people failed in their core area of specialization where they've worked for nothing less than 30 years.
Now they are being rewarded with a job they may not have any idea of.
I suspect one of them has the president's nude.
