It is often said that you don’t use the mirror to see that which you wear on the hand. This clearly explains some of noteworthy achievements of Government of Governor Imo State Governor, Hope Uzodimma.

The Governor who was on 14 January 2020, declared the duly elected Governor of Imo State by a Supreme Court judgment after the sack of Emeka Ihedioha of the People Democratic Party, PDP, is now being called Mr. Performer by the indigenes of the state.


Sport Development

As a sport lover, Governor Hope Uzodinma donated buses to the Ministry of Sport in the State to support the State's owned football club, Heartland Football Club of Owerri.
The brand new luxurious buses were presented as part of his youth and sports development strategies.



Health
Governor Hope Uzodinma did what non of predecessors could not achieve. Medical equipment, ambulances and medical kits were given to the ministry of Health to boost the health system in the state. Training and retraining of medical personnels was constant since he was sworn-in about 14 months ago.



Governance/Welfare

As parts of his efforts to create mutual understanding between him and members of his executives, new cars were given to all the government appointees in the state.

Those appointed as Commissioners were given Prado cars as their official car, while Hilux utility vehicles was given to his Senior Special Assistants and Special Assistants to the soft spoken Governor.
Not neglecting the teeming population of the Civil Servants, Distinguished Sen. Hope Uzodinma secured numerous luxurious buses to pick workers from every nook and cranny of the State to their places of primary assignments.



Road/Rural Infrastructural Development

Imo state is now the hub for construction works. Most bad roads in a Owerri and its environs is becoming a thing of the past. Sen. Hope Uzodinma completed most of the jobs before his 100 days in office.
A field assessment of the road proved that it is not just construction but one mixed with quality materials and great expertise which will stand the test of time.
