I really understand what you are saying but remember all this countries you mentioned have undergrounds channels to negotiate with those terrorists.. But they will come out openly to said different things. More so this issue of banditry and small arms proliferations were as result of this western world polices to sell weapon and used other countries for experiment. They invaded Libya, Iraq & host of countries becomes lawlessness and those idiots become emboldened

Oh, I've gotten your line of reasoning now. Those so called developed countries have been accused of funding terrorist organizations to destabilize other nations especially developing ones.

But I believed that they won't fold their hands and watch their citizens getting killed on their soil en masse by terrorists like what's going on in Nigeria.

You also talked about the US paying Al qaeda in one of your comments too, it might be true though. But don't forget that either they paid Al qaeda or not, the US didn't let their opportunity to kill Osama bin Laden go. This was a man that commandeered terrorist strike against the US as far back as 09/11/2001, he was still hunted down and gunned to death even after almost 10 the tragedy happened, showing you how important the US viewed the security of their citizens and that they never forgets.
The reverse is the case here in Nigeria, even when citizens get killed en masse, the massacre will be forgotten the next day, and what is even more worrying is government's "I don't care attitude" towards such incidents. Killings by various armed groups have become a norm in our country. Who curse like this o.
