First, that time I posted, we didn't know yet if OP was sincere or a troll. It was good to ask those sane question to burst any prank rather than rushing to believe such a lovely lady is dead based on a thread which could or could not be true. Joking with someone's death isn't funny.

Secondly, I kept giving OP different options to get her relatives faster, but you mistook them for argument.

Here is what happened. She and I used to talk some years ago and she had written my number on a diary of her's because her phone was bad back then.

It was while the neighbours were rummaging through her stuff that they found the diary. They saw my name and felt that since it's a South-Southern one, maybe I was her family. They then called me.

There's no doubt about this as I was on the phone with the neighbors, mostly elderly men and women, yesterday. I told them how I met victorian on Nairaland and they asked that I put this out here with the hope that someone might know her relatives as they have zero information.

Generally, level of comprehension on Nairaland is low these days. It's now more like a teenage site. I don't know why it's so hard to understand all going on in here.

Initially, we thought OP was a troll, so as a wise person, I just put forward those questions to burst any prank and bring out the truth of the whole matter.
@Bolded, check again, the OP mentioned something like that.

Then, I listed options to get her relatives. I don't have any issue with getting OP's contact from her diary. My only argument/suggestions were the care taker who was supposed to have details of her next of kin, her students in her fashion school, her incoming calls, her IDs etc Those are faster ways to get her relatives.
All I said are simple things to help the thread, can't see why people should misunderstand or be quoting to attack me again.
But should I bother? I'm no Nairaland where sensible posts look dumb to the resident who kids play here all day. If I had said something that can appeal to their childish sentiment, they would have understood it.

Her neighbours said she SLUMPED AND DIED in her house on Sunday. They said they don't know any of her relatives.

Her phone is locked and they're unable to access her contact list.

I'm posting this topic here with the hope that a friend who knows her family would see it and provide leads on how her family could be reached to claim her remains.

Good, you know she was a feisty person who took no prisoners or did not suffer fools gladly. Just imagine how she would have had my head if she was alive and seeing such a thread about her.

The thread is not to announce her demise but to gather information that could lead neighbours to her family. I promised them that I would throw this out on the forum, where she had lots of friends, and revert if anything comes up.

Someone, who's also close to her, said there's a fellow on Nairaland who he felt was certain to have some valuable information. He however does not remember the monicker. I'm hoping the person sees this.
