Because of the groundnut you plant??
Most of the food items come from jos and benue, and they reject you with everything they have. What exactly do the north provide that is unique. Yam? Benue. Tomatoes, carrots, cabbage? Jos. Cattle? E too bring waala. We go eat chicken, goat, and build ranches with better breeds. Please what do u really offer? Onions? Its a useless spice really

What nonsense are trying to explain. The fault of PMB doesn't in anyway have anything to do with us. These people are traders who have their goods and trucks deliberately burnt down and properties worth billions destroyed and nobody give them protection. Southern governors have the responsibility of protecting their business but they failed to do the needful even in words. Many guys here celebrated the destruction of Innocent Northern traders in the south for bigotic reasons and is obvious nobody is supporting their business so why should they keep taking their goods to where there is no protection?
This issue is purely based on attack of Northern traders in the south not PMB or your usual ethno-religious excuses.

Small truck that were burnt you are dancing ajasco. wink wink

What about the tens of thousands of southern lives taken by the blood thirsty northerners since 1945 ?

Sell the damned country and give us our change. After all, change is what the almajiri party promised in 2015.

people who aren't sound in agriculture are jubilating over the news. lolll. The north practically feeds the nation when it comes to large scale cereal, legumes and spices. They are practically blessed with fertile and favourable weather conditions.
No any other region can feed the nation. that isn't arguably unless you not familiar with the nations agriculture scheme.
Normalcy will soon set in as their producing power is beyond those two nations demand. Even those two nations produce similar stuffs as the north also.
When bubu administration inflated food, were they not still buying high, they can sustain and go into farming too, not only north has good farmland, there is in most states, it's only this will wake the lazy up to start farming, even in their gardens, so forget this talk jare

You're speaking out of ignorance and naivety. Be prepared to buy 2 pieces of Tomatoes for 1,000 naira.
The bitter truth is that we need their food for food security.

Glad to know that there is one more sane person following this thread. In two to four weeks time, their brain will reset.
Initially, they were banking on the fact that those food items would perish but now northerners have sought alternative buyers. You ask them how long it takes to cultivate yam, beans, maize or rear cow cattle to kill size, some here might even tell you that it is just two weeks. Lol
Some of them have never seen yam, maize or cassava on the field before but look at how they are making mouth here! It is going to be long rough ride unless FG or northern governors intervene

Hopefully we go to war. Shame on our soldiers who shoot harmless civilians but have failed for years to put the Boko boys under raps. That uniform is a disgrace.

Whatever the problem is, I hope it gets resolved quickly so that food prices don't escalate. I don't know why we Nigerians are so divided. I wish we can unite and make Nigeria a better place. It's so unfortunate.

Like I said earlier I don't expect people who don't know about agriculture to give me a reply.Your sentence on their is in most states is a false. No reasonable farmer will invest millions in a state whose soil and climate states aren't favourable.

Oga its a lie to say the south can't produce agricultural products for her people

the fact that the north are into large scale now doesn't mean the south is bad in agricultural lands

▪︎Earlier demanded N450Billion as compensation for their loss.

Foodstuff and cattle dealers across the Northern part of the country have started diverting their goods and all consumables to the neigbouring countries of Niger Republic and Cameroon.
They have also begun blocking trade routes to the South by stopping food item-laden trucks from going south.

Truckloads of food items from the northern part of the country were on Friday stopped by northerners from entering Kwara State and neighbouring states in the South West.

They failed in Mali and CAR. They must not be allowed to take over our ancestral land. The SS, SE and MB must come together if they dont want to remain slaves forever to these people. Let those who are ignorant of current affairs in South ally with them to their own detriment.
