Job title Marketer/Sales rep Department/office Commercial Job type Full time Pay band N30,000 – N500,000 (target driven) Line manager Sales Manager Post-related allowances TBD Job description Job aim The Sales Representative is required to commit to minimum sales volumes within an assigned geographical coverage through engaging the bulk buyers and partners. Geographically based; managing partners orders within an assigned geographical coverage Part of a team of frontline salesforce - all jointly responsible for delivering business objectives in a territory Number of staff managed 0 As line manager 0 As countersignatory 0 Finances managed 0 Duty and standards – measurable in terms of productivity, quality and quantity. Please note this list is not to be regarded as exclusive. Commercial (80%) Consistently deliver great performance – Stay focused on the priorities and demonstrate rigor and brilliant execution. Provide information on coverage and development areas across the coverage area. Ensures full (100%) delivery of the business target across coverage area. Deliver market share growth while complying with outlet activation standards. Ensures precise compliance and communication of promotions, special offers and innovations across coverage area, and ability to secure pre-orders and ensure timely delivery of orders in the right quantity within assigned coverage area. Leadership Responsibilities (10%) Be Authentic – Builds strong trusting relationships that help them and others perform. Share own view openly and speak out for what is right. Bring the company Objective to life – Be an ambassador for Vita Bread, good role model for ethics, compliance and our reputation. Demonstrate pride and deep accountability for bringing the Sales vision and Performance ambition to life. General Responsibilities (10%) Sales target for assigned geographical coverage; ensure Return on Investment on promotional activations and trade asset. Drive incremental growth through effective management of promotional activity in assigned coverage area Reviews outlet database with the Sales Supervisor on a weekly basis Recommends and implements Sales recommendations to drive incremental growth and counter competitive activities in all outlets within assigned coverage area Expected qualifications for the role Qualifications Minimum of Ordinary National Diploma (OND) or equivalent. Minimum 1 year experience working in a similar role (preferably Bread Business) Some commercial expertise gained across field sales/consumer/customer marketing is an added advantage Basic understanding of selling capabilities, outlet activation standards, outlet segmentation, building relationships, persuasive selling and brand passion Excellent communication skills - written and verbal Good commercial understanding numerical skills Good interpersonal skills Fully geographically mobile (particularly within assigned coverage area) Ability to work flexibly Person specification Your job application or CV should in addition to providing standard information about yourself include information/evidence of the following; Achievements Relationship Building for Influence Entrepreneurship Customer Service Orientation Flexibility Excellent Communication Skills (English and relevant local languages based on location) Demonstrable expertise in using Mobile Tools FMCG sales experience Evening, weekend and unsocial hours’ work should be expected.
