In the US alone, more than 30 automotive brands vie for the more than 17 million cars and trucks that are sold each year.
Here you have just 1and an upcoming 1 which will make it two, and you're already wishing someone else to be put out of business..
There's a reason Black people are disgusting..
Greed , envy and jealousy.. Tufiakwa!!
it is that tribalistic tendencies dat I ve noticed here on nairaland, n it is more with our brothers from d SW. y must they wish for anything from d SE to go bad. It beats my imagination everytime, cus when these two regions wise up n know that they r better off working together the better for southern Nigeria

Is innoson the only car manufacturer or assembly plant in Nigeria? Is it in the Nigerian constitution that innoson should be the only car company in Nigeria?

it's funny how the same characters shout and make noise about Dangote and monopoly, but they love monopoly when it comes to innoson.

Hypocrites.

You people are not serious.

Who Is now dumb? By referencing innosson, we are advocating for local manufacturers. Cant you see through? You sounded brilliant with your comment but learn to see through another post before you unnecessarily attack.

Assembly plant or manufacturing? What a great country rule by unfortunate people!

Go and read book. You are not enlightened. They have numerous car assembly plants in U.K. for example. There is Toyota, Nissan etc assembly plants. That does not stop your growth. Just make sure they only take in your citizens and train them to assemble and repair cars by ourselves. That’s all that is needed.

Experience: I bought made in China car (used) 2012 and was happy with my buy. 3 months later and I was on my way home from work with colleagues and had the sunroof open. Minutes later, we heard thunder cracks and decided to collapse the roof. As I pressed the button, omo na so the roof fly comot. We we're all shocked. Had to form 007 on the road to get home before the rain gets to us first. Fixed it the following day.

Like few weeks later, headlamps that I used my hand to change from halogen to led, one of them turned pink and the other remained white when the car was not undergoing genetic mutation.

There was this times I'll be in the traffic and bonnet will be bouncing not like how we see on TV but obvious enough for you to notice it. The driver next to me asked if there was a problem? Too ashamed, I had to tell him that I'm responsible cos I always like feeling the vibe.

Sold it off that weekend. Hat to chest for the current users if it's still alive.
lolxxxxx hahahaha in conclusion avoid made in China

What stops the government from partnering with the likes of INNOSON Motors? Rather than look within and towards one of our own, we keep supporting foreign governments in building their economies.

Depending on how you are seeing it, today you are pursuing Fulanis out of your land, tomorrow it will be Igbo, next Indians, then Lebanese and Much later Chinese, because your government never prioritizes their own peoples, what makes you think that those Chinese won't bring over their people to manage those plants, what makes you think only your people will get a job in the plant, if he invited inoson for partnership, most of the workers will be Nigerians and Innoson naturally will employ more Yorubas in the west but does a Chinese man know the difference between a Yoruba and an Igbo wgen considering giving a job

Hiring Nigerians for any serious project is a sure fire way for the project to scatter.

Those people:

The real educated and focused ones among them will be searching for opportunities either through direct employment or otherwise to benefit from this project. smiley

The useless illiterates and criminals among them will log in to their useless handles on social media and start insulting Tinubu from sunset to sunrise on daily basis. grin
