Sylvester Ngwuta, justice of the supreme court, is dead.

Ahuraka Isah, Spokesperson of the Supreme Court, confirmed the incident to TheCable.

According to Isah, the Justice who had been ill for some time died on Sunday morning.

He said Ngwuta’s illness took a turn for the worse on Thursday and was subsequently taken to the intensive care unit.

The Supreme Court Spokesperson, however, said Ngwuta tested negative for COVID-19.

“He has been ill for a while. He was supposed to preside over a matter on Thursday but the illness became severe,” he said.

“He was moved to the intensive care unit on Friday. They even conducted COVID-19 test on him but he tested negative.

"We were already preparing for his valedictory service slated for March 30.”

Ngwuta is the third most senior judge on the bench of the apex court, behind Justices Tanko Muhammad CJN and Bode Rhodes-Vivour (who is due for retirement on March 22, 2021).

The Supreme Court Judge of Nigeria has Gone to give account to the Supreme Judge of the Heaven and Earth in whom there is no Partiality.

To sleep and wake is a Miracle and a reason to appreciate GOD ALMIGHTY.

Lastly and Most Important, Preparation for Eternity at all times is very Important.

Buhari is finally happy on this one.....after failing to do that in 2016 when Edo people were still protesting against the rigging by APC/INEC of Edo gubernatorial election results, BuhariAPC quickly doused tension by midnight attack on the houses of some Southern Justices.

Wow ,this life is full of vanity ,look at a judge that spent some time on the bench looking into people's personal life and conduct .chai no judge suppose to be found wanting before the judgement seat of God,they should use the opportunity of judging others to look into their own flaws before it becomes too late .RIp

Our fake pastor Righteousness2 is always on every thread 247 on Nairaland.

He obviously spend 99% of his time on Nairaland;

- No time to read his Bible or pray
- He doesn't go to church
- Does not go to work/business
- Only derails threads

Mods please do your job!
