Maiduguri is the Capital of Borno State. It is located in the Sahel Savannah region of north-east Nigeria .

Maiduguri is the capital and largest city of Borno state in northeastern Nigeria.

The state is called home of peace ,yes it was one of most peaceful state in Nigeria before the Boko Haram issues started. Some people think that people don't live in the city or the city might be a ghost city due to the attacks.
