From bridge head to Uga junction is about 1 minute drive with a car and 5 minutes walk on foot, yet these guys operate both at bridge head and Uga junction and in-between the two places.
Nothing has been done to them by these military personnels

Firstly, I'm very disappointed with some of my Igbo brothers countering this thread in the name of protecting the Eastern zone and shifting blames to other zones, how can we be suffering and smiling because you want to show the Yorubas online that the Eastern zone is free from all this atrocities and thereby tagging the post fake news...

I've witnessed two encounters with them, the first time was when I didn't use the overhead bridge in Lagos park (upper iweka) I was innocently crossing the road to board a bus, when a haggardly looking guy grabbed me by my belt like a common criminal saying I should follow him to their office, I looked at him, ordinarily...he is someone I would have given the beatings of his life in a one on one fisticuffs battle, but I tried to talk sense to him before I unleashed my venom but before I could finish making a sentence 4 other agberos were dragging me by my shirt and glory be to God I didn't create a scene that might have led to people already eaten & forgotten about the taste of my rice at my funeral....As a guyman, I came down to their level by switching to Igbo street slangs, they told me to pay 10K but after much deliberations, I parted ways with my hard earned 2K just for nothing, my only annoyance was that all along those useless soldiers was closeby, staring, busy watching me been harrassed like a criminal...

The second case was during the yuletide period which was the most painful and annoying experience, I bought goods and the useless barrow guy diverted to the lane and stopped saying I should pay one agbero guy like that, I thought it was a joke, I said ok, me thinking it was something of 50-100box maximum was asked to pay 1k (I was shocked, how much will I now pay the barrow guy was the question i asked and the idiot said "Nka, a gbasara'm" meaning that one no concern am) Then I noticed I have too much time to spare coupled with frustration and anger of the market inflated prices and the fact say "I be craze man for my formal life" To cut the story short, we created a big scene there and I ended up paying 5K for damages to their Oga for something I would have applied diplomatic measures, I was shaah disappointed with myself when I got home because I know those guys has nothing to lose and that was the first time I fought in public...!!

The only advice I do tell people now is that I realized those guys gat strong back up from top individuals, nobi everything gragra dey solve, instead it will only worsen the whole situation, so many people have been injured/killed in the cause of dragging issues with them and nobody will do anything about it, the government of Anambra State needs to do something really fast because unnecessary extortion is now a lucrative business in Anambra state....
