African Researchers (AR) Magazine showcases novel scholarly works by African Researchers (scientists and non-scientist alike). AR Magazine is a non-profit, authoritative publication that is focused on African research communication and dissemination. Our goal is to ensure that African research findings and contributions are efficiently interpreted, profoundly promoted and appropriately communicated to end users (governments, policies makers, practitioners, professionals, academics, business people, NGOs and the laymen on the streets of Africa) thereby influencing decision making for the greater good of the continent.

We accommodate interns (IT Students) undergoing 1 month, 3 months, 6 months and 12 months internship programmes. We welcome students from various academic backgrounds since the magazine is multidisciplinary. We accept students from the faculty of arts/social sciences (Mass Communication, Education and English language) and students from physical science (Computer Science, Library Science and Statistics).

During the internship programme, interns will be taught how to:
1. conduct advanced internet search for scholarly works
2. read, interpret and translate already published research articles
3. interpret published data using mathematical and statistical tools
4. engage in vibrant communication with scholarly publishers, authors and readers
5. proofread, copyedit and publish articles, news and editorials
6. use the latest ICT tools, web applications and softwares in publishing and website design/development
7. coordinate, schedule and conduct video interviews with renown academics
8. conduct news casting and presentation
9. conduct investigative journalism of ongoing research procedures
10. make use of video and graphic editing softwares for video production
11. catalogue, index and archive published content
12. observe workplace safety, team work and ideal interpersonal relations
