Dude shut the Bleep up. I used Redmi 7 for almost a year and a half before I sold it off. The person that bought it is still rocking it. Same phone I got on Nairaland. Redmi is scam and yet they are third biggest smartphone brand in the whole fucking world. Even though I use iPhone now, there are days I wish I could just go back to my Redmi.

I sold my newly bought Samsung a71 which I bought #170000 because of battery drain which didn't correspond with the 5000mah battery and bought Redmi 9t and I must confess this device is a beast apart from the camera that is not too good, the performance is smooth, I watch YouTube videos without stutter and the battery is a monster, it just won't die, I do not even plug my device when there is electricity,thumbs up to them
Note I am not a marketer but a lover of phones just giving honest review

one thing I've noticed with redmi products is people not able to reach you even when the phone is on. it happened to mine like for 3 months after I bought it and it stopped. my brother bought some months after I bought mine and same thing is still happening, it's going to six months since he bought it, I don't know if any other redmi usee has experienced this.

I wonder why someone will come out to complain about redmi product and others will rush out to bash them, I bought my redmi 8 from a seller here on Nairaland, I think his name is samtech, after two months, the redmi 8 stopped displaying network, I have tried different sims and til now, still no network.You all can come out and bash me too, I no get ona time.

I don't know what to say BUT, Redmi has been my phone brand for 3yrs with no issues.

I've grown with their devices starting with Redmi 7, Redmi Note 9 and currently getting the 10 in a few days.


From all my experience, REDMI is not trying to imitate anyone, they have been coming out with BETTER INNOVATIVE PHONE back to back for consumers like us unlike...

Change the network setting, remove it to only 4G. Put it to Auto or 3G. You can't receive or make call over 4G

I've been using Redmi7 for more than 2 years now and the battery is still the same.
I have to give battery to Xiaomi.
I'm saving for the note 10

I've had a Redmi note 4 for over 3 years now and it's still going strong, no single fault whatsoever.

The only problem I have with Redmi is data security. This fone never obey any command or settings. If you have any useful data I'd advise you to stay away. Samsung is the only android phone I really rate.
Almost every single app including message app want access to the Internet. If you like restrict data access they will still use your mb. Then you start wondering what they're uploading.
The phone also keeps tab of all your activities so always clear cache look for funny looking files to delete all the time.
The phone is solid though for gaming and normal stuff

Bro does it mean the phone is not safe for confidential things like crypto trading
