Please I noticed black smoke from the exhaust of my 2002 toyota avensis with a D4 vvt-i engine (1AZ FSE), I scanned with my domestic scanner and got the following fault codes. Please can professional help interpret the codes precisely and give an insight on what and what I need to do because I don't want no mechanic or electrician fiddling with things anyhow and charge me unnecessarily for what is not bad.

Black smoke form the exhaust usually means that your car is burning too much fuel. First thing to check is your air filter, make sure it is not clogged. Injectors or turbo if equipped could also be the issue. There are other big causes but start from these simple ones.

Black smoke usually indicates a rich fuel mixture. From the codes you posted. The rich fuel mixture is obviously caused by bad Oxygen sensors. YOU may need to change the bad O2 sensors, especially that of Bank 2 sensor 1. You may also need to clean your plugs cos the black smoke in the combuston chamber will definitely have fouled the plugs. I hope these helps if you haven't already resolved this issue.
