There was tension on Thursday night at Ugwuachara in Ebonyi State after suspected Fulani Herdsmen stormed the area to carry out an attack on the members of the community.

According to report gathered by IGBERE TV, youths of the community resisted the Fulani herdsmen that invaded the community with different kinds of weapons raging from cutlass to guns, etc.

Speaking with IGBERE TV on the condition of anonymity, a resident of the area said what the villagers was because the youths of the community were at alert throughout the night.

He said the displaced Fulani Herdsmen at their former settlement centre located at Ugwuachara regrouped yesterday's night to attack the residents but was subverted by the combined efforts of the Youths in the area.

He thanked the youths for being smart in resisting the attack which could have resulted to loss of lives and property.

IGBERE TV recalls that Governor David Nweze Umahi on Tuesday condemned the senseless attack on the people of Egedegede in Ishielu Local Government Area of the State by suspected herdsmen.

A statement sent to IGBERE TV by Special Assistant on Media and Publicity said the Governor made the condemnation when he personally visited the Communities on receiving the security information on the matter to ascertain the level of carnages.

The attack which allegedly occured on Monday night led to death of at least 25 residents affecting Nkalaha, Obegu, Amazu, Nkalagu and Umuhuali autonomous Communities.

If not that Nigerian soldiers and Police do help Fulani herdsmen to perpetrate their evil in remote communities, I can boldly tell you that group of youths in a small village in most Southeast States will capture all these brave-forming Fulani cowards alive.




How I wished Nigerian security could be neutral on this fight, Fulani herdsmen will willingly return back to Futa Jalon mountain where they came from.

There's no evidence short of some random unconfirmed source that women were abducted in Ebonyi, it's impossible that any body will risk his life counting how many women are been abducted in the middle of a killing spree, don't you think so? the more plausible account was that the cowardly herdsmen carried out the attack in the middle of the night and fled.

Compare this to Wakili whose men have raped, slaughtered, displaced and maimed residents in Oyo state for some years now before he was finally caught, now imagine how many of your people have perished in those communities that Wakili conquered and occupied!

In a classic man to man fight, those fulani bastards have never stood a chance, they've always had their arses handed to them and they run like the pathetic cowards that they are when they get it hot. They tried the same nonsense last year in my community at Okigwe and it was bloody for them, army units from Obinze had to intervene to save a possible massacre by youths and armed vigilantes... why do you think they always choose the unholy hours of the night when people are at their lowest level of alertness and vigilance to attack? they did the same thing at Nimbo community some years ago, and now Ebonyi - ALWAYS ATTACKING AT NIGHT when people are sleeping and unprepared for the worst.
