You could have actually asked to be taught the language without making mockery of thier struggles. Anyway, I'm here too. Maybe I could learn one or two words!

You tried. But you ommitted the possessive pronoun that should appear at the end of the sentence. The ommitted pronoun is m, which means my. In Igbo language, m serves as I, Me and My. See the correct forms of your sentence below.

An mụ eme ike m (I am trying my best).

OR

Ana m eme ike m (I am trying my best).

Mụ and m are pronouns and are used interchangeably.

good morning : útútú óma or uhuruchióma, óma=good,
útútú or uhuruchi=morning
good afternoon: ehihie óma
good evening :mgbede óma (Anambra+enugu dialect) or ugbede óma (IMO and abia)
good night : kachifoo

difference is "k" and "kw" for example "kw" which is a digraph pronounced or works as QU in queen and "k" which does same as c does in the word cook

Ọma = good,
morning = ụtụtụ,
afternoon = ehihie,
evening = mgbede/uhuruchi.

Ụtụtụ ọma (Good morning),

Ehihie ọma (Good afternoon),

Mgbede ọma (Good evening),
Uhuruchi ọma (Good evening).

NOTE: It is not in all cases that ọma is used to imply Good. You use oma in some cases where there is no other part of speech between the noun or pronoun and the adjective (good). For example, there is no part of speech between Good and morning. Space is the only thing separating Good from morning.

In other cases, you use mma or amaka to mean good. Examples:

Ego dị mma (Money is good).

Ego amaka (money is good).

THEN, mgbede oma sir

Please, uhuruchi is for evening, not for morning.
