In igbo language there are uda Olu (which means vowel sounds and they are A E I Ị O Ọ U Ụ. more so, they are subdivided into Uda aró and Uda mfe

UdA mfe (they are pronounced with less effort) and they are : A I Ọ Ụ
A is pronounced as Are

I is pronounced as E

Ọ is pronounced as or

Ụ (this one is pronounced as the "U" in puke

Uda ArỌ (they are pronounced using the diaphragm ) and they are : E Ị U Ọ.

E is pronounced as Eh or it works as E in earth, breath, break etc

Ị is pronounced as e in the word fleet , Seek etc

U is pronounced as "O" school, tool, stool etc

O is pronounced as "O" in Grow, growth ,Sow etc.

give me table
am i right?
due to the fact that table is a heavy object , you cannot just say "give me table" you can only say carry the table+ adding a pronoun "m" (bunyem or buterem igbe)

I.e bunye means to carry the table from one position to another

"M" is the pronoun

O di nma = e dey good. Are you aware that 'dey' in Pidgin (Pidgin English was developed by slaves in the Caribbean, including a significant number of Igbo slaves, and imported into Africa by the missionaries) comes from the Igbo word, 'di'?

di and dey are used exactly the same way and it is used to ascribe a characteristic unto someone.

O di nma = it is good (O in Igbo is the pronoun for singular he/she/it, Igbo language does not have different pronouns for male, she, it etc)
O di njo = it is bad

O na-abia = he/she/it is coming

'kwa' in Igbo is used for emphasis.

'O dikwa good' is just Engiligbo for 'it is good'.

O di omimi = it is deep (in reference to a well or a complex concept).

The use of 'NA' in Igbo language

The second use of 'na' in Igbo language is for conjuction, aka 'and'.

Obi na Ada = Obi and Ada

Obi na Ada na-abia = Obi and Ada are coming

The plural pronoun for Obi and Ada in Igbo is 'ha'

Ha na-abia = they are coming. Some parts of Anambra such as Onitsha, Ogbaru etc would say 'fa'. Fa na-abia.

Garri na egwusi = gari and egusi.

Elu na ala = up and down

Mu na gi = me and you

Gi na ha = you and them

etc (dgz).

Olisa gozie nne m ( God bless my mom)

Kedu nwanne gi? Where is your sibling? (Kedu can mean where, what, why, how etc in Igbo)

Oh not at all. I used Chi and Olisa to show you the several usages of 'God' in Igbo language. Other names for God are Chukwu, Obasi, etc.

You never interpreted the assignment that I gave you! cheesy

Ogamysamo bu nwanne m

Onye bu nna gi? Who is your father?

Onye bu nwanne m? Who is my sibling

Jideofor bu nwanne m Jideofor is my sibling

Now to specify if your sibling is your brother or sister, you add nwoke (male) or nwanyi (female) to the sentence. For eg:

Chika bu nwanne m nwanyi Chika is my female sibling ie sister

Obi bu nwanne m nwoke Obi is my male sibling ie brother

'Na' in Igbo has 4 main uses. One of the uses is that is used to indicate present verb.

Osaze na-abia - Osaze is coming (bia is come)
Chika na-aga - Chika is going (ga means go)
Chi na-edu m God is guiding me (the popular name you that hear, Chinedu, du means guide, lead)

what of the remaing uses of 'Na'
