It's a market strategy...
They invented the genetic disease (sin) to sell the cure (salvation). They just have to convince you that your sickness was inherited and as such you need to buy the cure.
I don buy the idea of original sin..it never occured anywhere in the old testament.

Exactly. Tell that to Christians that keep seeking converts based on original sin.

Even this apologist site supports the idea

I quite agree with you.

So what is jesus saving us from or what is the reason for the jesus character.? God in tbe old testament already gave us a solution to the problem of sin. In 2nd chronicles 7:14 "if my people who are called by my name will humble themselves and confess their sins and turn away from their evil ways, i will hear from heaven and forgive their sins and heal their land "... So all that was needed is a sincere repentance. Even when sacrifice was sort, it was a female goat less than 1 year without blemish..
If you say it was for the jews only, why did the writters of the jesus tale make him come from israel?..

God laws has already given us all we need to be righteous before God?

God did not "give" you any solution in the Old Testament... You are not of the blood of Jacob so how can you lie to yourself that God gave you that which He instead gave to Israel? undecided
You are not called by His name, so how can you claim Him when He does not claim you at that? undecided

And just like the other folks at the website you pointed me to, you should tell them to prove it by providing biblical evidence or shove their claim where it belongs. undecided

By inherited, we mean "Repetition" not Transfer from he who has to he who had not!

Therefore, every soul commits there own sins.

And every who commits sin would require an escape (salvation) from He Whom they have offended!

It's a disservice to Christianity for you to refer to koboko as a Christian. There's nothing Christian about him. He's not born again neither does he believe the Bible. That being said, what i said is the Bible, and student of the Bible knows that. Have you found a born saint?

The good news is that you are not the decider on this since Jesus Christ is the author and finisher of my Faith(trust and obedience) in Him. grin

Even the Pharisees, whose claim to fame was their "belief in God" could not effectively judge the Truth of God since they knew not the Truth of God. How can a one who claims to be of God but knows not the Truth of God be expected to judge an issue that has to do with the Truth of God? undecided

There, you have a bullet there to silence them with.

Clearly you need to read your Bible more.
The Bible teaches inherited sin, generational sin, original sin, etc.

Romans 3:23
for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God,

Numbers 14:18
The Lord is slow to anger and abundant in lovingkindness, forgiving iniquity and transgression; but He will by no means clear the guilty, visiting the iniquity of the fathers on the children to the third and the fourth generations.’

Source: https://bible.knowing-jesus.com/topics/Sins-Of-The-Fathers

Psalm 51:5
Surely I was sinful at birth, sinful from the time my mother conceived me.

Just to mention few.

I am afraid I don't see what you see so you will need to explain to me how what Paul wrote there implies any of what you have there in your list?
Myer:
Numbers 14:18

Again, you will need to explain what it is you see so I can follow along. According to that, are we to believe that God does not visit the sins of the fathers on those beginning from the fifth generation onwards? undecided

Well, that is David's declaration to make. He was sinful at birth does not imply that we are all then sinful at birth, or does it? undecided

@Myer, as far as generational curses are concerned, God lifted that off of His people, Israel, on whom He placed it, to begin with. undecided

Jeremiah 31 vs 27-30 (ERV)
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
27. “The days are coming,” says the Lord, “when I will help the family of Israel and Judah to grow. I will help their children and animals to grow too. It will be like planting and caring for a plant.
28. In the past I watched over Israel and Judah, but I watched for the time to pull them up. I tore them down. I destroyed them. I gave many troubles to them. But now I will watch over them to build them up and make them strong.” This message is from the Lord.
29. “People will not use this saying anymore: ‘The parents ate the sour grapes, but the children got the sour taste.’[g]
30. No, people will die for their own sins. Those who eat sour grapes will get the sour taste.”

In addition to Ezekiel 18, where God swore on His Name that never again will the children die for the sins of the fathers(No more generational curses), God also added that people will be punished not for past sins but instead present sins.

Ezekiel 33 vs 10-20 (ERV)
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
10. “So, son of man, speak to the family of Israel for me. They might say, ‘We have sinned and broken the law. Our sins are too heavy to bear. We rot away because of them. What can we do to live?’
11. “You must say to them, ‘The Lord God says: By my life, I swear that I don’t enjoy seeing people die—not even evil people! I don’t want them to die. I want them to come back to me. I want them to change their lives so that they can really live. So come back to me! Stop doing bad things! Why must you die, family of Israel?’
12. “Son of man, tell your people: ‘The good things people did in the past will not save them if they become bad and begin to sin. In the same way the bad things people did in the past will not destroy them if they turn from their evil. So remember, the good things people did in the past will not save them if they begin to sin.’
13. “Maybe I will tell good people that they will live. But maybe those good people will begin to think that the good things they did in the past will save them. So they might begin to do bad things, but I will not remember the good things they did in the past! No, they will die because of the bad things they begin to do.
14. “Or maybe I will tell some evil people that they will die. But they might change their lives, stop sinning, and begin to live right. They might become good and fair.
15. They might give back the things they took when they loaned money. They might pay for the things they stole. They might begin to follow the laws that give life and stop doing bad things. Then they will surely live. They will not die.
16. I will not remember the bad things they did in the past, because now they live right and are fair. So they will live!

17. “But your people say, ‘That’s not fair! The Lord cannot be like that!’
“But they are the people who are not fair! They are the people who must change!
18. If good people stop doing good and begin to sin, they will die because of their sins.
19. And if evil people stop doing wrong and start living right and being fair, they will live.
20. You still say that I am not fair, but I am telling you the truth. Family of Israel, everyone will be judged for what they do!”

Ok thanks for sharing Ezekiel's verse ongenerationql curses being ended.

But Psalm 51:5 was David acknowledging scriptural foundations that every human is born with the sinful seed of Adam. Just as Romans 3:23 reiterates in new testament.

And hiw everyone needs the seed of Jesus Christ as the second Adam.
