Ozekhome is just trying to be relevant. The appointment is in Acting capacity. The Senate still need to confirm the appointee. Did Ozekhome say anything when GEJ fired Abba Sulaimon and appoint Arase as IGP. When OBJ appointed Sunday Ehindero and Mike Okiro as IGPs. Oh I forgot those are from our side and we don’t need to say anything.

Acting IGP is due for retirement 2023 which means if he is screened and confirmed by the rubber stamp Senate which is expected....He wouldn't be able to legally finish a full term/tenure of 4 years..what is the essence of the appointment
