Please focus on job creation. Whats the need of building more schools while those graduated/will be geaduating from the schools will have no employments? Note, I'm not against more colleges in Nigeria.

Repeated approval of private varsity is an indication that Nigeria at all levels of administration has willingly proved irresponsible and irresponsive towards advancement of education.

What a visionless and purposeless big-for-nothing nation in the 21st century!!!

Private uni is the best. They add immersely to the development of the education sector. Nice

Have a caveat to that.
If u go 2 some private university, u will cry. The Lecturers are paid like beggers, treated as refuges and no job guarantee (sack anyhow and tell u there are a million jobless graduates out there.

We have got more than the required number of universities in this country already. I wish the owners of these private universities channeled their resources into building factories and/or agricultural ventures. No be book we go chop o!

Sadly, our system may soon become very bad. We may even have the Indian situation in Nigeria. A case where you have highly qualified people with PhDs but without jobs.

Emphasis has been placed more on quantity other than quality as far as qualitative education is concerned.

Really?

And you think having 700 students in a 50 seated capacity lecture theater is more than enough?

The truth is we need more affordable universities to decongest the available ones.
