LAND GRABBERS ARE AT IT AGAIN, PULL DOWN MAHARAJ JI'S VILLAGE FENCE.
Few months after suspected land grabbers invaded Maharaj Ji Village property and injured four devotees, the same land grabbers have struck again, this time around, pulling down the fence of Maharaj Ji Village property located along Ibadan/Lagos Expressway.
The incident which took place on Tuesday, April 06, 2021, the land grabbers destroyed a portion of the perimeter fence of Maharaj Ji Village.
While speaking on the latest invasion on Maharaj Ji’s Village property, The Father of Creation said, “men of the Oyo State joint security outfit known as Operation Burst, comprising of the Army, Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, Police Officers and thugs aided the land grabbers to carry out their dastardly act.”
Maharaj Ji further added, “just like last year's encroachment on Maharaj Ji Village property which was aided by Police Officers; men of the Operation Burst also provided security for the land grabbers who pulled down the fence.
"For how long will the activities of land grabbers continue? They are permeating every section of the country. The President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Muhammadu Buhari and the Oyo State governor, Engr Seyi Makinde should weigh in on this matter.
"By extension, traditional rulers like the Olubadan of Ibadan land, Oba Saliu Adetunji and the Alaafin of Oyo, Oba Lamidi Adeyemi are also appealed to. The President has promised Nigerians that he would stop any form of anti-corruption in the country. We can’t sit down in Ibadan, the pacesetter city, and someone will say he wants to throw away/disregard the judgment made by the Court! It is against the Constitution.”
Speaking further Maharaj Ji said, "we have gotten two favorable judgments on this land and we have been using the land for farming activities until we saw these hoodlums invade the land.
"It is a pity that some people still engage in such heinous crimes in this country where government talk about obeying the rule of law and fighting corruption every day,” Maharaj Ji posited.
Therefore, I am calling on the Director-General of Operation Burst; GOC, 2 Division, Nigerian Army, Odogbo, Ibadan and the Oyo State Commissioner of Police to call their Officers to order, considering the spiritual strategic position which Ibadan land occupies in Nigeria’s political history. Lest we forget, the 1966 political impasse that led to the political crisis that engulfed the nation and led to Civil War was ignited in Ibadan.
"We must be careful because, it's illegal for any security agency to dabble into any land matters, as it's not in their jurisdiction of services rendered to the public. Why on earth would people be using soldiers or the police to carry out nefarious acts?
