Atiku is not as popular as you guys think, it was the shehu musa yar adua pdm factor that gave him leverage. Without the kaduna mafias backing he can't go too far.

Atiku isn't popular but an incumbent Buhari, with his much-touted invincibility had to deploy all machinery of government to brazenly rig him out in 2019 ?
While I do not wish to see either on the ballot in 2023, I assure you that Tinubu will struggle to even defeat Atiku in your beloved South West, were they to square up.

Even though Tinubu has never had the opportunity of serving as Vice President, his network across the country is far more reaching than Atiku. And yes, Tinubu is a de-tribalised Nigerian.
2023 is not too far,we will soon find out how true this statement is.That is if at all he will pick up the APC ticket

Politics is more about interests and not ethnicity, the northerners in APC have too much interests than to loose to pdp. And for now there is no stronger northerner than Buhari, don't be deceived with his bad performance. He and Tinubu decides who the next president is.
Lol He and Tinubu? Very funny.Tinubu is not even more powerful than AGF Malami !! You yorubas make me laugh by hyping your local champions

you be olodo. If Tinubu gets 60% and 80% from North and southwest. He's already a winner to run shows from the rock. The other two Southern regions have the lower electorates in Nigeria. Their combine numbers are not up to Northwest .
Lol that is a very big Ifffff Tinubu getting 60% in the North against a northern candidate is malaria dream

This is simply meant to teach Yorubas some lessons that you can’t eat your cake and have it.

I’m even ready to rig the election for a northerner instead for Tinubu to win.

you know nothing about Naija politics. Go check number of registered voters and that of the electorates after election. Tinubu getting the percentage you gave him from North and West. He's already a winner

Igbo leaders have been wailing over ordinary IGP all week but one unknown Chukwudi is somewhere saying Igbos are not interested in the presidency. Quite ironic if you ask me.

let him declare before we analyse. Let events unfold.... But as it is now. Let's assume he's running for the office. If he gets the ticket if APC, no opposition can stop him base on the previous alliance and he's contribution to the emergence of Buhari as the president of FRN. If APC still exist as a party till the coming election, the main treat or hurdle is how to be the flag bearer of the party. Note this down

I can bet you’re from the south but you’re here hyperventilating on how to make sure a northerner defeats a southerner in 2023 after 8 years of Buhari rule.

So tell me, what does the south stand to gain from another Fulani presidency? Will the south be better off under an Atiku presidency than a Tinubu presidency?

It’s such a shame that lots of southerners are willing to cut their nose to spite their face. Atiku and Tambuwal are as nepotistic as Buhari. They will rule Nigeria the same way Buhari is ruling. Someone like Atiku will even be worse because he’s extremely corrupt and very wicked. It’s time for the south to stop this politics of bitterness and acrimony.

I don't know why some people cannot see what's going on in Nigeria beyond APC vs PDP.

I just don't know why people in the South refuse to see that Nigeria's travails goes beyond party platforms and political ideology( as if there is even any).

I just can't fathom why certain blockheads in the South refuse to realise that what obtains is purely of political, ethnic, cultural and religious domination.

The political/military elites that you see in the North of yesteryears and today do not consider party platforms when the question of the Northern agenda is brought to the fore. They do not regard the principles of justice, fairness and equity in a multicultural, multiethnic conundrum that Nigeria Ltd is, although they pay lip service to it.

How then can there be true unity and real peace when the terms for peace and unity are dictated by a certain ethnic group who see their culture(albeit achaic and retrogressive) and religious beliefs as superior in substance and practice?

The sooner these Southern people realise that they have been marked, together with their so called political, traditional and religious leaders, as slaves and at best 2nd class citizens, the better for this generation and the future ones. If the failure of a region to develop its people will now translate to punishment and death to others then where is the justice?
