seyi has left pdp tey tey. Ganduje took him to meet buhari secretly late last year. I guess he is still on negotiation stage cos oyo Apc re the ones staling his planned defection

I agree with you 101%

Take a look at the Fulani crisis in his state and his inaction depicts loyalty to the North.

It will be a miscalculation.

APC lost Benue to herdsmen crisis. Any fulani Candidate may find it difficult in OYO.

Don't worry.

Wait till 2023.

Have you heard of insecurity like this? Not even in Afghanistan.

Please have a sober reflection.

Fake defection story. How can he defects? There are fake people all over this tread of news. Of what benefits will defection be to Seyi Makinde.

Should he defects, that will be his Waterloo politically.
I wish the rumours are not true.

The North does not want true federalism. So what else do you want to offer?

Is this not the same IDIOT, the former Governor of Bornu State, Shetima, whose taped phone call with former Governor of a Southwestern State, Amosun, was leaked? After, I listened to the taped conversation, I came to realize how the British destroyed the ZOO by putting this IDIOT in the same country as other humans. For one, he's a very DUMB person bereft of any reasoning capacity. If he's any dumber, he would be a rock. I pray that destruction become his lot!

Did you see why Nigeria will never move forward even in 500-years to come, imagine where a youth who happens to be one of the Leaders Of Tomorrow is canvassing for septuagenarian??

It Is Well With Nigeria's Soul

Nigeria's soul, in Aristotelian monistic perspective, is long dead. It's not at all well with the dead entity called Nigeria. I blame it all on religiously induced stupidity.

What's wrong with you People's thinking faculty!

Lemme put this to you, the kinda youth this age breeds today will be WORSE in leadership compare to the aged we have at the helms of affairs now.

In the wake of crisis rocking south west PDP and rumors flying around about the possibility of Gov. Seyi Makinde’s impending defection to APC, two APC governors and a senator today visited the embattled governor.

Governor Zulum of Bornu state, Governor AbdulRahman Abdulrasaq of Kwara and Senator Kashim Shettima were with the Oyo state government for undisclosed reasons.

What could be the reason for this visit?

Yoruba has become a priced bride for Arewa because Arewa knows that once Yoruba declares Oduduwa Republic, Nigeria ends.

This visit is very significant because of the personalities involved and their political loyalty as far as 2023 is concerned. The Tinubu camp is not leaving anything to chance at all.

seunmsg;

What are these politicians darting about for?

Are there two Nigerias, or is it this same Nigeria now printing money to sustain government and the states?

2023 is still 2 years ahead. A lot can happen in one month.

Yoruba was also the priced bride in 1967 before the civil war. Why did Awolowo & co not use the opportunity to form Oduduwa republic?
Which Yoruba leader today has the brainpower of Awolowo, yet even he was deceived

It will be a great mistake for him if he decides to join the APC... Besides, APC Oyo Chapter does not and will never support him. APC Oyo Chapter has so many candidates that are aspiring for the seat come 2023.
Don't you remembered what happened in Edo state, PDP had so many people jostling for the sit to become governors, how did it end?everyman has a price tag.

I doubt you live in oyo state. He can still manages pdp in oyo. His problem is sw pdp.
Forget about these people that are not on ground in Oyo state.
My advise for Makinde,is to concentrate on Oyo PDP,he should leave SW PDP politics, because Fayose is a man who has alot of time for trouble. He cannot work with the current APC structure in the state. I also believe he can still manage To PDP well.

Biden is over 70

Is Yahaya Bello who is between 40 and 50 doing better than Ganduje who is between 60 and 70?

So what are you talking about?

The only person that is giving PDP some levels of relevance in Nigeria politics is Gov. Seyi Makinde of Oyo State, if he should cross carpet into another party, PDP will lose everything and die a natural death. All his political opponents of the in APC will be left with no choice than to support his second term bid and wait for 2027....

Bayo Adelabu Penkele...., Barr. Niyi Akintola, Sen. Teslim Folarin and all of their supporters can not decamp to another party right now and it will be hard to deny a sitting governor ticket in the primary election..... If he should make that move, he has literarily won the second term from now. The only way to stop him is to deny him acceptance into Oyo State APC.
