Kano Pillars have now officially signed Nigerian footballer Ahmed Musa on a short deal, MySportDab reports.

Musa has joined Kano Pillars until the end of the current 2020-21 Nigeria Professional Football League season.

Kano Pillars chairman, Alhaji Surajo Shuaibu Jambul and the club's media officer, Rilwanu Idris Malikawa confirmed the news on Tuesday night.

Kano Pillars also shared a post on Twitter to officially announce the deal.

Media Officer Malikawa confirmed that Kano Pillars discussed the signing of Musa with the player and the League Management Company of Nigeria (LMC).

“Ahmad Musa is our player and we will continue to support him anywhere he finds himself,” Malikawa said.

musa coming bk home to.play is a good way forward bt d only problem is dt a 28yr old striker is supposed to be giving defenders n keepers sleepless nites in Europe top leagues..
I felt bad wen I heard dt he wasn't accepted after trial in struggling westbom n he felt coming bk home to play is better than sitting n waiting..
European stars, mainly south America players do return bk to their country league to end thier career...tevez is in juniors, Veron, riquelme, mascherano, diego milito, lavezzi all went back n even neyma messi n aguero all av plans of ending with dier first love at home..
I know musa wud only play home games maybe bcox of security issues but it would b nice if we get to see d likes of victor moses, Mikel, onazi, ighalo etc all ending it here..

yes and the young man needs to play football n dts why he returned home...cr7 and messi are above 32 and still looking for new lucrative contracts in top European clubs but na only in naija dt we see our 28 year old striker coming back home to round up his career, maybe dts rhor condition if musa like to still make the super eagles squad..
