Why would a church that has money to build a stupid canopy not enrol at the PAYE scheme?
Taxation isn't a punishment for big entities.

I don't believe all these... Bishop Oyedepo is an Achichtech , and he said he designed the structure by himself....how old his he and what has he designed

Show us the churches owned by the Apostles nau, as Oyedepo be billionaire owner of Living faith ministries nau...e dey scriptural abi?

Awon idol worshipers... for your information...I’m living my life in Europe right now. Keep worshipping your foolish gods of men in that shithole of a country.

Let them keep brainwashing you with the Bible, instead of seeking the truth for yourself. Wallow in your poverty and be sowing seeds for breakthrough that will never come.

A fool and his money/time is easily parted.
Stop reading your Bible like recharge card pin. In acts of apostles, there are many references to synagogues. The first infilling of the Holy Spirit was in an upper room. That's a church now. When 3000 was added unto them in a single day and they continued in one accord thereafter, they did that in a church building.

Great!

This guy must be a billionaire now with all these designs

Architecture is one of the most lucrative and relatively unknown disciplines in Nigeria and the world.
They make their money from school not after school

Living Faith Church really gave the guy the platform to build a very strong CV
Apt!

I am not sure about that. He was an employee of the university as the physical planning director when he designed all of these projects.
He was also a lecturer of the school so I doubt he was paid separately for most of those projects.
If he was paid, maybe the living faith own. Definitely not the Covenant own.

He owns the company that is handling the contract.

Keep building religious centers while developing countries are building Innovation centers, keep pursuing heaven while your life’s on earth is a living hell . You all think you can worship or live the supreme creator ? You want to work for God as if God told you she needs anyone to show her mightiness. Una never know anything.

This is not government but a religious organization. Secondly, go to their universities and see if they don't have innovation centers. The architect designing the projects is a product of the university.

My take is on the young lad personal achievement..and recognition.

Regardless, it’s an inspiration to other young lads following him.
An accolade too for the institution, showcasing one of their groomed youth.

Yes o, and the early church was worth 350 million shekels of silver which made the Apostles filthy rich!

That’s how not to read the Bible like a “recharge card” according to you na cheesy

Now please read Acts 2 v 42-46;

42 They devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer.

43 Everyone was filled with awe at the many wonders and signs performed by the apostles.

44 All the believers were together and had everything in common.

45 They sold property and possessions to give to anyone who had need.

46 Every day they continued to meet together in the temple courts. They broke bread in their homes and ate together with glad and sincere hearts,

47 praising God and enjoying the favor of all the people. And the Lord added to their number daily those who were being saved.

Mr CodeTemplar, the early Christians met in the Temple courts and in each other’s homes to have communion.

Kindly show us where God or Jesus called anyone to erect mighty monuments in His name for Christians to worship. Bearing in mind He does not dwell in temples created by human hands hmmm?

I expect people to defend their gods of men as always whether they do right or wrong.

And don’t get me started on the tithing and offering and seed sowing lies which you and your fellow brainwashed slaves believe in but has never lifted you and your families out of perpetual poverty cheesy

I mean, when you use the same parameter of attributing church wealth to the founder.

The living faith church is easily a $3Billion + organization. So by Forbes standard oyedepo would be worth $3B not $150M
That makes no sense

That’s nice. Oyedepo is the owner of the church. Not Jesus smiley

Quite lovely I must say. I wonder how much the early church of the Scriptures was worth! The Apostles might be billionaires in their time... who knows? cheesy

Hell no! They couldn't have been billionaires and the reason is simple. Back then the gospel wasn't monetized like we have it today. The Apostles preached the word of God without the intent of amassing wealth and living a flamboyant lifestyle like what your GO's do today.

How you build a 5.2 billion naira primary school shocked NUC requirement for starting a university is N1 Billion.

Forbes is wrong. Oyedepo would be roughly worth the same as Abdul Rabiu of Bua.

300 million naira for bookstore, not library. Place where dem dey buy book shocked.

grin
Forbes' list is about "Net worth"

Net worth = Assets - Liabilities.

It is not just about the figures you are reading.

I was being sarcastic with that comment. Wanted to point out the folly of those calling Oyedepo the owner of the church.

The religious body is way bigger than the educational body. The religious body is gonna affect negatively because the sole reason why most people are religious is because of the reward they feel comes with it which is Heaven. We all can testify to the effect of religion on Africa as a continent. We are the most religious and worst continent. Think about it
