Definitely, poor comprehension, or what Jesus Christ referred to as blindness is a major issue for many religious and indoctrinated when it comes to reading the Bible. Understandably so too, a folks like you tend to approach reading that book by first fixing in your heads the goal of validating the doctrines(lies) already taught you by your Mogs instead of approaching learning of the Truth of Jesus Christ as children would... clean slate.

Here's a couple of questions to get you started on your quest to discover where the cherry picking comes from. Simple yes or no questions for you.

Are there 613 commandments in the Law of Moses?

Did God, throughout Deuteronomy and in Deuteronomy 30 where He ratifies the Law of Moses, not declare, severally mind you, that the Covenant He made was with those who are of the blood of Jacob(and the foreigners who live in the land of Canaan with them)?

If God makes a Covenant with a particular person, eg. Like His Covenant with Aaron and His family, can anyone simply badge in on the Covenant and be taken seriously by God?

Did Jesus Christ declare to you that He came to offer a light yoke and an easy burden, a covenant agreement which was ratified with the shedding of His blood and the giving up of His life?

Did Jesus Christ declare that those who love Him are only those who obey His teachings/commandments?

If you answered Yes to at least one of the questions above, then you are the one guilty of cherry picking as far as scripture is concerned.

Please, for the sake of your soul and eternity, take your own advice and read through that book, paying close attention to the teachings of Jesus Christ, the New Covenant Law of the Kingdom of God. The fate of your very soul depends on it !

You may claim to be the only ones who know and love God because you identify as Christians.

It's the hypocrisy for me. Other religions can also claim that the world revolves around their religion, but when Christians claim that their God is the ultimate, you feel pain. Why?

The world is big enough for everyone to proclaim the mightiness of their God and everyone else, infidels. It is their religion, their beliefs. Like Democrats vs. Republicans, PDP vs APC and any other ideology or belief system. There are "good" Democrats and there are "good" Republicans (in whatever way you choose to define "good", you'll find good people in both camps).

And, yes, it is okay for APC to claim supremacy over PDP and vice versa. You have no business controlling how they see themselves.

I have given you an answer several times now but the problem is the answer does not fit the script that your the many doctrines and traditions of men you subscribe to there agree with. So, you should probably learn to process formats more advanced than the one you continue to work with there.

The laws of moses are divided into two (1) the moral law (2) the ceremonial law
The ceremonial law were all laws pointing to the what Christ would do to redeem his people by dying on the cross and resurrecting on the third day. Hence it has been accomplished.
