Lagos state governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, during an interview with Channels TV disclose that the yellow buses popularly known as ‘danfo’ will not be scrapped as earlier reported, but would rather be remodeled to meet modern standards. Recall that in February this year, the state Commissioner for Transportation, Frederick Oladeinde, said the yellow buses do not have a place in the transportation master plan of the state, suggesting that they would soon be scrapped by the Sanwo-Olu administration.
