I don't like getting involved in this type of emotional conversation.

What he said is 99% true. What you wrote is also true, but just around 30%.

Talking about anything good from the South, the road you used today in your state was built or is being maintained with free money from the South.

Your uncle that works with the government gets paid with free money from the South. Isn't that something good?

Some of the food people in the South eat is from the northern part and that is commendable, but they don't get it for free — they pay for it.

As I said, I don't like getting involved in all these emotional talks, but truth be told, the northern part needs to work on a lot of things. And the southern part needs to also work on those things you listed.

If we are to compare what both of you listed and measure the ones drawing us backward the most, it's the one the first guy listed about the North.

Note: I won't reply — just felt like stating the truth.

Israel didn't depend on prayers alone to defend themselves in the Arab-Israeli wars. They put on their boots and carried rifles to warfront. It is kill or be killed. Wishes don't stop a terrorist from attacking you only actions do. The US didn't do 40 days fasting to stop Osama bin Laden, they trailed, traced and snuffed out life from him after so many years. Action is what makes the difference.
