Exactly about 4.15am in d early hours of Sunday morning. Some armed herdsmen who came from d neighboring village of Federal University of Agriculture , Makurdi attacked 12 students of the above institution. The armed herdsmen abducted 11 students leaving one female student behind. The female students who refuse to disclose her identity. Says...... I saw six (6) armed men who came out of the bush wielding machetes, heavy guns and swords, threatening we students whom were on our way back to the hostel. I got scared, and began to run. In d direction of the female hostel shouting for help. This unfortunate event is coming few days after the school had its 24th and 25th combined convocation. where numerous projects were also commissioned. According to sources, security was also increased by d V.C to reduce this very challenge. But one could still wonder what could have led this armed headers to beat the school security men to abduct students. More details as reports keeps coming......
