¹ Now when Jesus was born in Bethlehem of Judaea in the days of Herod the king, behold, there came wise men from the east to Jerusalem,
² Saying, Where is he that is born King of the Jews? for we have seen his star in the east, and are come to worship him.

The subject of glory is a very important one. It's so important that I decided to do a second part. May God open our understanding of His glory upon our lives in Jesus name.

Nobody is born to be a nonentity, to be poor or to be a failure.

Just like the LORD Jesus, we are all born with varying levels of the glory of God upon our lives.

This means we are all born with different levels of greatness, fame, honor, excellence, wealth, riches, huge success, celebration, royalty, power, dominion, eminence, etc. God's glory symbolises all these traits.

There is one glory of the sun, and another glory of the moon, and another glory of the stars: for one star differeth from another star in glory.
— 1 Corinthians 15:41

Look at all the heavenly bodies; they all have their individual glory. The sun seems to be the brightest body to us on earth, but there are stars that outshine the sun.

Every heavenly body has its own peculiar glory. The sun has its own glory, so does the moon and stars. All stars shine gloriously, but they outshine each other in individual glory.

For example when the LORD Jesus was born, His glory shone most powerfully in the spiritual realm and caught the attention of some star gazers and readers.

They were amazed at the intensity and depth of the glory of Jesus' star. All their years of high research astrology, they had never seen a star as bright and glorious as Jesus' star.

In a hurry, they sought to worship Him and offer Him gifts to appreciate His glorious destiny:

⁹ When they had heard the king, they departed; and, lo, the star, which they saw in the east, went before them, till it came and stood over where the young child was.

¹⁰ When they saw the star, they rejoiced with exceeding great joy.

¹¹ And when they were come into the house, they saw the young child with Mary his mother, and fell down, and worshipped him: and when they had opened their treasures, they presented unto him gifts; gold, and frankincense, and myrrh.

Jesus' destiny was to be the everlasting king of a no ending kingdom:

And he shall reign over the house of Jacob for ever; and of his kingdom there shall be no end.
— Luke 1:33

This was why the wise men rejoiced so much when they saw His star. They counted themselves highly privileged to worship such a very special personality.

Like I have stated previously, to every person born on earth with a special destiny, there is a level of glory of God they carry.

The more glory of God upon one's life, the more glorious his or destiny. What makes our destinies so glorious is the glory of God upon our lives; if that glory is taken, our destinies will lack suitable expression.

Unfortunately, the devil specializes in robbing the glory and destinies of billions. The devil robbed the glory of Adam and stole his destiny of being the god of the earth:

And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.
— Genesis 1:26

Adam's destiny was very glorious indeed. He was created by God to take charge of the earth as God's own representative. Everything on earth was to be subjected to Adam as they would to God Almighty.

But when Adam died spiritually because of his disobedience, he fell from grace to grass. Rather than dominate the earth, he was dominated. He became the slave of the devil because of sin and lost his special destiny to the wicked one.

Because of Adam's sin, the glory and destiny of humanity became subjected to the devil:

⁸ Again, the devil taketh him up into an exceeding high mountain, and sheweth him all the kingdoms of the world, and the glory of them;

⁹ And saith unto him, All these things will I give thee, if thou wilt fall down and worship me.

Luke 4

⁵ And the devil, taking him up into an high mountain, shewed unto him all the kingdoms of the world in a moment of time.

⁶ And the devil said unto him, All this power will I give thee, and the glory of them: for that is delivered unto me; and to whomsoever I will I give it.

⁷ If thou therefore wilt worship me, all shall be thine.

Even till this day, the devil, his angels and his demons still desire to be worshipped in exchange of the glory and destinies of many.

When a person is robbed of God's glory, his or her destiny lacks expression and recognition. This is why we have so many hardworking and talented people who struggle endlessly in life.


We have 4 categories of people:

1. Those who don't know and do nothing or little about their destinies.

2. Those who struggle in their destinies.

3. Those who are successful in their destinies.

4. Those who are great in their destinies.


There is a big difference between successful and great. A great person stands out among many successful people. A great person's success is so great, he or she stands out like a giant among many.

It's God's plan that we ALL be GREAT by His GLORY in our individual destiny. The devil has cheated many of God's glory and greatness in life and destiny.

MFM General overseer, Dr Daniel Olukoya once said that if God should open our eyes to see where God wants us to be and where we are presently, we would cry nonstop.

Unfortunately, many are too complacent with little of God's glory on their lives and choose to live far below God's expectations.

God gave man His glory in order to enable man fulfill his unique destiny. God's glory has numerous benefits on the destiny of man which includes beauty, favour, increase, riches, miracles, victory, etc. But we will focus on divine publicity today.


It's God's glory that brings massive publicity to your destiny. Many talented people remain unknown because they carry little glory of God on their lives. It's the glory of God that will bring you into the attention of many; you will become the favourite of most people:

¹ Arise, shine; for thy light is come, and the glory of the LORD is risen upon thee.

² For, behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and gross darkness the people: but the LORD shall arise upon thee, and his glory shall be seen upon thee.

³ And the Gentiles shall come to thy light, and kings to the brightness of thy rising.

Imagine two market stalls at night. One is under a floodlight while the other is under a florescent bulb. Which stall brings more attention?

Your answer is as good as mine. The glory of God will bring you into the attention of many. God's glory will draw many people into your direction and you will become a celebrity.

But the path of the just is as the shining light, that shineth more and more unto the perfect day.
— Proverbs 4:18

In other words, the righteous carry great light or glory of God that keeps increasing attention. When we carry God's glory, we carry irresistible bright light that will keep attracting people in their multitudes to us.

He was a burning and a shining light: and ye were willing for a season to rejoice in his light.”
— John 5:35

When we spiritually carry God's glory, many will come to rejoice in that light. If you want to be highly favoured in your destiny, you need to learn how to accelerate God's glory upon your life.

Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid.
— Matthew 5:14

I don't know what your destiny is; but if you want to be widely known, you need more light on your life; you need more glory of God upon your life. When God's glory comes, you can't be hidden for too long, you will be celebrated by many.

Truly the light is sweet, and a pleasant thing it is for the eyes to behold the sun.
— Ecclesiastes 11:7

Just like the eyes appreciate the light of the sun, the more we shine with God's glory, the more we will be appreciated by many. It's God's glory that brings our destinies to limelight and appreciation of men. God's glory causes our faces to shine.

We are all born to be celebrated and to be celebrities. Just like the stars of heaven, when we shine with God's glory, people in their ever increasing numbers will celebrate us.

Do people celebrate failures? No, they celebrate very successful people. So it's the purpose of God's glory to make us very successful, rich and great in our destinies. This is why God's glory is so indispensable and necessary to fully fulfill destiny.

Just as God has His own glory, He created man with a level of His glory:

For a man indeed ought not to cover his head, forasmuch as he is the image and glory of God...
— 1 Corinthians 11:7

It's our responsibility to learn how to keep increasing in God's glory and to fully fulfill our destinies on earth. Many people's destinies suffer because of the lack of God's glory.

The key to God's glory is the Word of God: (Genesis 1:1-3)

We must learn how to keep increasing your time in God's Word everyday, most especially in the New Testament.

Remember, it's God's glory that gives expression and publicity to our destinies. May God's glory shine massively on us these last days in Jesus name.
