The Management of Champions Newspaper Limited led by its Group Managing Director/Editor-in-Chief, Dr (Mrs) Nwadiuto Iheakanwa (nee Iwuanyanwu), has expressed satisfaction over what it described as rapid and total transformation of Ebonyi state, following Infrastructural signatures of the present Administration ably led by a God fearing visionary leader, His Excellency,Engr. Chief David Nweze Umahi FNSE FNATE (Akubaraoha).

Dr Iheakanwa arrived Abakaliki, the State capital on Monday in company of the General Manager, Publications, Mr Thomas Imonikhe, as well as Mr Ugo Amadi, the Newspaper's Editor.

The Editorial team of the Newspaper company who came to Ebonyi on a special project assessment visit preceding the Award ceremony maintained that the once most backward state in the country has now become the cynosure of the zone, and will soon become the investment hub of the country.

The Award which the Editorial team says is an outcome of a discreet and painstaking methodological assessment is according to it, a way of appreciating selfless and unblemished service by patriotic leaders.

The team maintained that in confirmation of results from independent assessors, Ebonyi State Government under the stewardship of His Excellency, Engr David Umahi has become a model state.
