Good day Nairalanders, so yesterday I decided to do a little calculation as I got a "whopping" 30% salary increase. Now let's say I was earning N200,000 as at March, 2020. My employer is beating his chest that he increased my pay cause he is now paying me N260,000, using the assumption above (I've massively increased in my tech skills ).

So I decided to calculate my previous salary as of March (the management started talking about a salary increase in February last year), which is 200,000/365 = $548 against my current supposed salary which is 260,000/490 = $531. So, have I really made a progress in terms of earning?

I strongly doubt that cause figures don't lie

from 7000 naira to 9000 naira lol.
