This is NOT ora soup....Anambra who are the originators and masters of ora soup use ogili Igbo and ede uli. Again , you didnt cook ora soap!

Offor is a thickner. It's made from offor seeds by grinding into fine powder and used to thicken soups.

Oha leaf was not on sale when I went to buy.. It was almost raining so I was in a hurry I substituted for uziza leaf..

ladies and gentlemen.. as the single broke student guy I am like this.. Things are very expensive this period that I have not eaten swallow for like a month due to finance..
so today as God may have it, a good Samaritan gave me 1k, I quickly made a list of food stuff to get for Oha soup o.. Hunger dey..

the fufu is not factored in the price..

as for the dried fish, okproko, I got them from somewhere for free..

local man cannot kill himself o..

Wahala for bachelor, but double wahala for bachelor Wey no sabi cook o..

The Malam sliced the meat into ten pieces, and with the dried and stock fish complimenting,this soup will last me till Wednesday I think...

It's not Oha when there's no oha leaf in it. Oha soup is usually a combination of oha leaves and oziza leaves.

Besides, the palm oil stockfish and dried fish were not included in the 850.

i have the palm oil at home, the dishes were giving to me from a Neighbor That it travelling..

As for the Oha,were I went to get it, it was not on sale so I had to substitute with uziza..
Cos I have already made up my mind to cook soup..

This thing can smell for Africa grin I used once in cooking soup and it seems I added to much of it in my oha soup

It stinks like poo!

Sometimes the way it smells I'm forced to ask if this is still ogri smell or this one has actually gone bad. Lol....

It actually ends up smelling good when it's combined with the other ingredients in the soup and gives it a unique taste too.
