Nigeria is bleeped under this government.
Imagine paying kidnappers #55m while few graduates earn npower stipend of #30k.....
The worse part is that they are requesting for another #100m.
When you pay them, they acquire more arms, create more networks and intersify their business.

Exactly, that Edward clark is a big dunce,a military that cannot solve insurgency wants to control a country ....to those semi- illiterate nairalanders supporting military take over,i say to you...you are big big FOOLS!!!

Most people are not thinking straight in this country right now. We are trying to solve one problem with another problem because we have become too desperate bt that is dangerous and also counter productive.

you are so correct - since the days of Murtala Ramat Muhammed, the supremacy of the Military chain of command was breached and it continued until Sanni Abacha. The khaki boys do not need General Onyema's screams of loyalty, he is part of the military establishment that has failed to secure the lives and properties of the Nigerian people, and if there are more comm

After all, there was a time some 37 years ago when a 41 year old Major General Buhari felt the country was heading towards a wrong direction and he and his comrades struck and threw out Alhaji Shehu Usman Aliyu Shagari from office, a man who was overwhelmingly elected by Nigerians in 1979 and 1983, who in my opinion is 1,000 times better than Buhari in securing Nigeria and communicates often and directly with Nigerians unlike Buhari - yet Buhari told us he was inc.But you cannot find a patriot in the military today, they have been infiltrated by boko haram!

Who noticed that govt never owes the millitary salaries?
Maybe hunger needs to wire them to know the right thing.

Who told you that d govt don't owe d military?

In d month of March, their salary was delayed so much that I had to survive one of my friends. The military are a definition of loyalty. No matter what they go through, they seldom voice their grievances.

The leopard will never change its spot. His Northern agenda has remained constant like the northern star. Yes 40yrs apart, the same format. As it is in 1983 so its going to be in 2023. In 1983, the military led by this daunce overthrew an elected government so that a sitting Northern President will not hand over power to anyone from South. As another election approaches, the daunce now a mannequin president wants to plan a coup to overthrow himself so that a Southerner will not rule again.

how can you say the entire military has been infiltrated by boko haram? Even in Christiandom, are all pastors loyal to the teachings of Christ? If all are now Boko Haram, then the Judas corp in the military who are not yet loyal to Boko Haram should take over grin

even General Onyema knows that he will be retired or killed when his boys takes control of the center stage.. They're all afraid

When someone takes “control of the center stage” which I presume is take control of the Presidency who is going retire and kill him? Do u understand what u wrote or do u need to rephrase it??

Military takeover is not even a solution bt another problem in itself. The solution is to ask incompetent people to resign. I don’t know why people are beating about the bush or are they afraid to tell the president to resign?? undecided

The present government has collapsed finally under d present regime. The thin line holding it is the outnumbered presence of fulani in d army or else, we would have witnessed this today's rumor as a reality long before now.

I pray that Osibanjo should resigned.

Shame on military. You wait on your base for Boko Haram to come and attack you always instead of you to be on the offensive.

Loyalty to Buhari or to Nigeria?

It says a lot about why the military behave the way they do.

Their loyalty is not to the citizens, their loyalty is to the president.

Compare that to America, where their military was prepared to disobey an illegal order of the Trump presidency.

Loyalty if the military is not to the people bt the president, the country and the constitution.

Can’t the people be biased or confused or even wrong?? Are the people always in agreement on every issue?

We shouldn't av gotten to this situation If it were other civilised nation The vice president should av been in charge everyone knows the cabal have been running this government since 2017 becose of the state of the president Excluding security sabotage If the president was sane and coherent he wouldn't even have accommodate these evil agenda that are causing disaffection nationwide

The doctrine of necessity suggests to one not a fool to do all necessary to avoid imminent and impending death the sort that stares us in the face in Nigeria presently. That is the rock solid truth! The Constitution envisaged a President in the mould of President Buhari might be elected and provides the impeachment clause to remove him but the present National Assembly is largely made up of lame ducks whose legacy means nothing to them. Quite appalling!
it gets me worried that our leaders are fools. Who talks about a coup when there is a constitution for handling such matters as removing an incompetent and deleterious leader?

CSTRR:

Loyalty to the people means loyalty to the Constitution.

The Constitution is what represents the people.

The president may not always follow the Constitution, the military should not be loyal to him when he does not.

The Constitution is supreme above the president in a true democracy.

If u read what I wrote i said it’s to the president, the country and constitution.

Was it not the people who elected the president in a true democracy?

We are saying thesame thing. The president can be wrong just as the people can be wrong.

Since the beginning of the security challenges I have concluded that it is masterminded and managed by forces who are opposed to any government to sabotage it and it started with the Jonathan regime It's is clear the bases of the Nigeria union is no longer valid So the best solution is for us to renegotiate our corporate existence so that all region can develop peacefully
