what are those advice you'll render to us in our Early or mid twenties...What are those mistakes or bad decisions that you'll never want us to make so as not to have regrets in life... I'm currently doing my ND2 in a state polytechnic with the thought of dropping at this level, I'm interested in leaning building construction.

Don't overwhelm yourself with the thought that you have many things to do or accomplish in this life. One is enough, but let that one thing be your everything. Just do one thing very well that's all you need.

As you enter 20, Let "this one thing I do" be your centre focus. Learn one skill and perfect it, date one lady and be contented. Let your life be free of all clusters of distractions. You'll be happy man with less distractions.

Have a strong mental state, Apply yourself to a lot of things, learn alot of skills, make a lot of meaningful connections and relationships. Read books and expose yourself and consume alot of useful information, because this is your most agile years that you will never get back, for now Relationship should be the least focus, your 30(s) will mostly be you riding on past glories and settling down and enjoying your life to a degree.

A jobless man with no goals distracts himself with pleasure, I know I sound preachy, but I have witnessed alot of young people throw their life away only for them to try to pick up things in their 30s.

Depression and Frustration is very common in this stage,, because there is going to be a lot of disappointments and unhealthy expectation, Life is full of ups and downs and some unfair unfortunate circumstances that you can't change and that is normal.

If you miss all this in your 20s, you will get depressed in your 30s for not attaining self-fulfillment, because other than achievement and goals, there's really not much meaning to life.

That is my honest advice. You don't want to be in your 30s and be regretting your 20s

I love your advice bro
But I am overwhelmed by many things I want to achieve, I can write, sing, I now have an industrial skill ( hollow glass production), I am learning coding partly and I am also schooling(100l).
I have just one girlfriend and we find ourselves cool.
Now I find it hard to leave one skill for another and I sometimes get into depression because I am always stressed up.
I can give a listening ear and advice whenever it's needed, it's good you have a clear path/goal at this age
Sometimes I feel like I need a consultant/adviser, but I don't know any and everyone seems too busy to listen to your advice.

If you are in school, focus on graduating with a good grade. No matter how bad Nigeria is, those with good grades always have an upperhand in the labour market.

While at it, make useful friends (network) and acquire skills. If you attend a high institution without getting a skill, you will be in the labour market for a long time.

Alternatively, you can start your own business while in school, but don't let the business affect your study time. Don't leave school without an upper credit/second-class upper.

Be courageous and don't be intimidated, have good rapport within your neighborhood always get your ears on ground but know where to draw the line, the street will teach you what your school won't

- Stay focused. Avoid distractions from girls, you don't need a relationship for now, trust me. It will only slow down your movement.

- Learn any valuable skills. Stay fit and healthy. Building construction is a lucrative course too. Learn to gather much practical experiences during this period.

- Stay around people that motivates you. Stay away from bad company. Cut them off now or drown with them, the choice is yours.

- You still have much time on your hands, spend it wisely. Don't waste yourself away on worthless things.

- Stay away from porn, gambling, consuming alcohol, smoking, patronizing sex workers etcetera. All these have short term 'pleasure' with hidden long term destruction.
