On the 17th of March, 2021, the central bank of Nigeria declared open the global money week challenge, themed - "take care of your self, take care of your money". The competition was said to close on the 26th of March while the grand finale was to be held via zoom on the 30th of March, 2021. Prices such as ipad, mackbook laptops would be given to the winners.

However, after many patriotic and creative, non-lazy Nigerians took up the challenge, and invested their time, resources and hard-earned money into this challenge, the CBN hasn't said anything about it 40 days after the competition was declared opened. It's very pathetic to see people brainstorm, create and solicit support from social media audience to like and share their contents but for the organizing body not to say anything about the competition.

It's honorable for the CBN or the anchoring body to at least update the participants and the general public about the latest developments - this will at least give the participants hope and won't make them feel sidelined, cheated or ignored.
An organization which is saddled with the responsibility of keeping and managing funds should portray transparency, accountability and fidelity as her watchword.

The public will appreciate if the CBN at least update the public and the participants about the competition, if it's canceled or the selection process is still ongoing. Announcing the winners will go a long way because everyone will feel justified.
