One of the nigerian politician that the youths have been unfair to or unhappy with over the years is Desmond Elliot, who is also a youth but has been seen as contaminated by many nigerian youths.

It all started with some of the project he commissioned in his constituency which some refer to as shameful most especially his very popular toilet project.

It got worse during the #EndSARS protest when Desmond Elliot referred to nigerian youths as children, this got them infuriated and since then, have been blaming him for every bad thing that happens, even internationally.

However, 2023 is coming and of course, He might want to contest, before he does that, there is need to buy the heart of the nigerian youths again, or else, he might not win the election he will be contesting for.

According to Osho Oluwatosin, these are five things the Honourable needs to do to win the heart of the nigerian youths

1 Apologize Properly : Ever since the issue of the #EndSARS occurred, Desmond Elliot has not really apologized to nigerian youths and this is one of the reasons he is still being dragged over every little thing. He needs to come out in a written and video form to apologize for his statement made during the #EndSARS Period.

2 Embark on Youthful projects : This is a period where people want to purchase SSCE and NECO forms, it seems JAMB has closed, Desmond Elliot should key into this and sponsor some people, it could be 100, and ensure that this gets wide publicity, from the radio, to TV, then Majorly Online.

3 Speak Against Police Brutality: Also, Desmond Elliot need to re-register his support for the youths again by speaking against police brutality and not just that but create a personal task force that will look into police brutality in his constituency, by this way, He is making the youths feel safe.

4 Embark On Massive Giveaway: Twitter is the biggest platform where Desmond Elliot gets dragged, there is need for him to just organise a massive giveaway that ranges between N500,000 to N1 Million, it could be to empower businesses, or just to buy people lunch, airtime, data. He should budget about N20,000 for one person to make it reach lots of people, this will definitely go a long way.

5 Embrace Influencers : Finally, Desmond Elliot should embrace twitter influencers most especially #EndSARS frontliners like Rinu, Dr Pam Pam, Debo Macaroni, and many others. If he has followed all these steps from number one to four, He should get the influencers to create a trend like #ForgiveDesmondElliot. The influencers will not be accused on collecting money to do it because he has also done his homework for the general youths, and they won’t have a choice than to forgive him
