In a way you are right. If it was a southern female politician that was caught with her hands in the cooky jar, looting in hundreds of billions, the press would have gone on overdrive! Remember Etteh? Remember Stella Oduah? Can you compare the noise that followed them and the way they were disgraced out of office to the gently removal of this woman?
