If you are to be the judge, who in Nigeria would you give the award of "Best Musical Artist Of the Year" to?

Many of the Nigerian artistes that have achieved much recognition can be described as one hit wonders (an artist who is generally known for only one hit single). Styl-Plus is different, and so they are my Best Nigerian Musical Artistes of 2005!

First I said Styl-plus, then i said 2Face. Ridiculous!

Yeah i thought so too. But hey, your mind can make direct u in another way.

Its like they are only 2 doin' the real thing. .Styl plus and Tuface. But as far as i'm concerned, they both have lapses. Tuface is just good vocally..much of the success is hype..promo from big bros..not as good as they shout him to be. But hey the guy is there and i aint no hater..thumbs up to him.
Styl plus too r good lyrically and vocally but they are damn too wack on stage. Stupid steps and poor dress sense. But the song "call my name" is a classic any day..
I talked with the producer the other day..believe me they've got a lot up their sleeves and it'll only get better.
Femi is there though kind of obscure, Sunny neji is there too .
My best video is "my child" by Mac.
There are lots of talents underground that are better than tuface and styl plus.
I'm yet to see the complete artiste.. solid vocally and lyrically, good videos, wonderful on stage, several hits songs.
I'ld give the award to "TuFace". he's the closest to all that.
But my best artiste is Agebeeka. U need to listen to him. Thats man is captivating like a line in his song "Girl of my dreams" says; i'm captivated, i'm elevated, sometimes elated, cos i know that i've found u.
I just love that love the guy.

It is not proper to just vote the best Nigerian musician knowing fully well we have different genre of music thus diverse musicians-

But definately, these guys are good- you can place them in their respective categories

Go check all psquare stuffs from the scratch up till now, they're all tight. 2face has a better promotion thats all. black Faze is far better than 2face. so ya'll shouldn't be carried away with that african queen song.

any bodi fit help me,i wan record my trax but i dont know if i should record my first two song as promo or deal with the whole album and da videos of which i dont really have the money yet,guyz how and wetin i go do cos this is really hard on me i have saved all my life but it wont jus suit what i want to do and i dont know of anyone who's down with talent hunt please my brothers out there am just 18yrs and i fend on my own am even outta skool for now cos my father an't worth talkin bout,i have a little brother who look up to me so much so please if anybody know who wat am i to meet or what am i 2 do pls reply this post.

Wa shere jere...Yes Wasiu "Pasuma" Alabi...and Musiliu Haruna Ishola has did big things this yr with his Modern Apala..so ill say he is the next best artiste if the yr next to Pasuma....

2Face is the best but haruna is good.
