That's your own restructuring, now you feel the heat.
We Yorubas don't even want your nonsense restructuring anymore self, it's too late to cry when the head is off. We are creating our own new Nation. Kogi can join the north if they choose.

This is rubbish! Must u write this GOOD before we break up?

Please add "2021" Biafra, Oduduwa and Arewa went their seperate ways".

It's a good write up bro pointing to the fact that the breaking of Nigeria is inevitable. Nigeria is not ordained by God to remain unchanged. Break away is must happen for all to build their nations as they dim fit

Who else sees with me that its only the majority of Yoruba Muslims that gives these fulanis the efrontry to be the boss in this country. Their number isn't significant if the Yorubas aren't aligning with them.
One wonders why the seemingly "most educated and sophisticated fellows" chose to be ruled, maimed, maltreated, insulted, deprived, debased, demean, killed, raped, inflicted and led by the most illiterate in the country?
Could it be because of religion? Of course religion has robbed them the civility and awareness that education seeks to bring. It has clouded their minds to see the light... Religion has made them reason along the lines of cows enthusiasts... People who prefer cows' lives to theirs. What an irony of life!
I pray they will come back to their senses and behave like educated people for ones.

Yahya Bello: is the definition of wastage and monumental failure as the youngest sitting governor in this present political dispensation.

It is therefore not strange for him to be defending the second greatest calamitous president in the history humanity after 'calamity' as a word.

I still haven't understood how the Asaba meeting of the SNGF is giving the northern politicians and elites a sleepless night. It could be because the unity of voice and purpose they greeted the meeting.

The Asaba meeting further made me understand that there's power in unity.

That's what I kept on telling my igbo brothers. If you want this country truly restructured or divided, then the support of the southwest and South south geopolitical zones. Because once we speak with one sincere and solid voice, we'll strike fear into the hearts of those northern caliphates, that's when we'll begin to officially call the shots and get what we want.
The northerner's greatest fear is a solid southern unity. Had we practiced it long ago, those bastards wouldn't have taken country for another subjugated territory of theirs. And if they choose to wage war, that will be final nail to the coffin because they know that officially marks the end of Nigeria, that i know they won't attempt it.
But instead of us doing the needful, we were busy bashing each other online calling ourselves 'conehead', 'okoro', 'ofe nmanu' and other unprinted names on the internet to the amusement of the northerners who enjoyed our disunity which always plays to their advantage and gives them the feeling that they call the shots on who gets what in this country, I thank God Nnamdi Kanu has finally realized that yorubas were never his enemy, he needs them too to achieve what we want . They're also part of the victims but they were wise enough not to have those thing damage them.
Going forward, we must jettison these southwest, southeast and south south governors forum and strengthen the institution of the 'Southern Governors Forum' that's where the real powers lies to make formidable changes to this gaddamn nation

Can't see where you going.
What I was trying to bring out is that, man has a natural need for a belief system, any belief system at all.

Are you going to be left out when all your friends, neighbors, colleagues and family members are members of one belief system or the other?

Who knows, perhaps there is something very important and beneficial they derive from adhering to their system, so I won't be left behind.

They never see it coming.
As diverse as the south is it was hard for them to believe they could ever come together fo a single purpose.

That shows how pressing the issue is to the south.
And they are all from different political party also make it unique

As for that yeye fool Bello, betterbto just leavr him alone to his idiotic aspiration.

But what GYB said is truth! Non of these states has allowed the judiciary or the local governments to function independently, even though the president has signed the order.
they just want state police to harass their oppositions and resource control to enrich themselves.

Excellent!!!

The northerners never see themselves as different geopolitical zones when it comes to raping this country, it is only the southerners that have divided voices.

The unity of voice From our governors is a big threat to the northern oligarch. We hope the fear of Buhari won't make the APC folks among them to retreat. I don't see religion as a clog to divide them because majority of them are Christians.

Then, the 2023 ambition from some big guns may likely tear them because the northern politicians may use that as bait/ransome to negotiate, hence, the backing down that may eventually lead to divided voice.

Akwamkpuruamu:
The Union Called Nigeria is Negotiable & Must be Renegotiated

In 1947, India and Pakistan emerged from the ashes of British Indian Dominion.

In 1971, Bangladesh separated from India

In 1965, Singapore cut ties from Malaysia

In 2002 East Timor and Indonesia went their separate ways.

In 1905, Norway , Denmark and Sweden all went their separate ways.

In 1944, Iceland seceded from Denmark

Between 1992-1993, Czechoslovakia became two independent nations, Czech Republic and Slovakia .

Bosnia and Herzegovina , Croatia , Macedonia , Montenegro , Serbia (including the regions of Kosovo and Vojvodina) and Slovenia , were once one federating country called Yugoslavia. This union came to a cruel end amidst brutal blood sheds. And all went their separate ways in the journey of nationhood.

Russia , Ukraine , Georgia , Belarus , Uzbekistan , Armenia , Azerbaijan , Kazakhstan , Kyrgyzstan , Moldova , Turkmenistan , Tajikistan , Latvia , Lithuania and Estonia . These fifteen countries were once known as USSR ( Union of Soviet Socialist Republics) This union collapse in 1991, and they all went their separate ways and became sovereign nations.

In 1921, Ireland separated off from United Kingdom .

In 1830, Belgium and Netherlands went their separate ways.

In 1776 USA seceded from UK .

Eritrea is no longer part of Ethiopia

South Sudan has moved on from Sudan

All these separations and secessions happened for various reasons ranging from, political, economic, religious, ethnic, sociocultural, ideological differences, amidst other factors too. No nation, state or country is divinely created, they’re all human creation along various lines. If you can’t tag along, untangle yourselves.

Scotland recently had a referendum in a failed bid to secede from Uk . But are still pushing.

Uk just recently dissolved their marriage with EU (European Union)

Catalans are aggressively pursuing a Catalonia Republic separate from Spain .

So I ask, how many more blood of black men, women and children do we have to spill to keep this Lugardian fraud called Niger-Area?

Some unscrupulous European men gathered in Berlin, Germany in 1884-85 and balkanised Africa for their own benefit and interest, and today, those of us who benefit from the system, are on a killing spree to maintain the status-quo, not because they have a blue print or road map to make Nigeria better, rather to make their pockets and bank accounts fatter.

There are various options on the table that can make the geographical entity called Nigeria and her demography better and greater, unarguably, disintegration is ONE of them.

Personally to me, I think we’ve crossed the rubicon, and dismantling this Lugardian fraud, will save lives, birth healthy competition, all facets will develop and grow according to their own pace. All facets will build a NATION in line with their values, beliefs, worldview, identities, civilisation etc.

I’m persuaded to believe it is no longer a matter of ‘IF’ but a matter of ‘WHEN’. I only hope when the time comes, we wouldn’t have to go down the Yugoslavian route of bloodshed to go our separate ways, rather the Icelandic route of peace and civility.

Peace ✌
what an intelligent contribution! Well done sir.

Although, I am a strong supporter of restructuring, but amidst a foolish talk is a little sense. Charity they say begins at home.

If Buhari had signed into law for local govts to be autonomous, why have the governors not implemented them?

Buhari led administration is not the only one guilty of this maladministration, looting and embezzlement, and complete disregard for the rule of law, our governors are to be blamed too.

Take for instance, despite the huge oil derivatives collected by these governors, yet there's little impact to show for the heavy monies they receive.

The whole system is corrupt even to the councilor level. Even our religious leaders are not excluded. In the past, when a child returns home with a strange gift or money, the parents quickly chastise such a child until they find out the source of such gift. Today, the reverse is the case, our parents and peers will even mock those who have decided to stand their ground on the basis of integrity. We have suddenly lost our values, morality, integrity, decency and empathy to others despite being the most religious people in the world.

Most people who complain of this administration will do worse when they're given the opportunity to govern. It is through this sort of blackmail and propaganda that the APC led administration rode themselves into power thereby dashing the hopes of everyone who believed them to make the necessary change or positive impact that they so prayed for.

I hope when the country is restructured, the same old, young and corrupt politicians who have corruptly amassed wealth belonging to the common mass to themselves will not yet b steering the ship.
what a brilliant contribution! Nice one.
