Why should govt get land for them? Is it govt that is getting stores and lands for other legitimate business folks doing business all over naija?
All this entitlement mentality and baby syndrome should stop
The herders should go purchase land for themselves. Last time I checked, this is a private business. Shuo!

Worse is that they hardly pay any tax self.

There's need to maintain and implement this one grazing. It will go along way to mitigate this menace.

The north are too intellectually lazy, with the resources they have, they have the capacity to outperform the south but because they are used to ewuf, they now feel entitled to everything in the country.

Our leaders in the south should set aside their selfish desires and come together and liberate us from this cursed country.

They made one solid point though.

They said the South have cowered away from placing the blame of Nigeria's security challenges at the footsteps of the Buhari govt where it belongs.
Same North that will tell you Buhari is Messiah tomorrow

Your open air wandering cow rearing activities is causing serious economic havoc, environmental hazards and criminal invasion on people's lives and you are here talking about how northerners have failed to discipline the south?

There's no hope for Nigeria, needs to break up .

The same thing going through every sane person's mind . . . I don't know how these people people think..

Always playing to the gallery and subjecting everything to petty politics. If they are in support of actualizing biafra, why not approach their brother in the Villa to tell him their decision?

The high level of grammar used in this article doesn't match the shallowness in the thinking. Deeply shallow.

Must Fulani live in every state? If is now compulsory let them come and buy land like Igbos are doing everywhere. Why federal government is trying to help Fulani's? Are they the only one living in Nigeria?

The merging of the North with the South is the second biggest historical mistake Britain made. The first, their feeling that Americans were willing pay for the 7- year war with France before the Declaration of Independence in 1776. How could they join two very strange people together? One is urbane, sophisticated, resourceful and on the go,on the make. The other , barbaric, nomadic, crude, unprogressive ,and very much SET IN THEIR WAYS. This makes Nigeria is a failure of history. Not that history itself failed, but the makers of this history failed abjectly. This failure, sadly, has dogged our chequered history. Thus, the unresourceful North has produced nothing but accidents of history. They seize power and cling to it for just its sake, not to impact society, not for social change.
The best ,in the main,is separation.

All along the sponsorship of terrorism in Nigeria was targeted at one sole purpose, the northern elites do not intend to relinquish power to the southern part or any other part of the country so,insecurity had been used as a form of distraction as that has been the issue on the front burner since the demise of Yaradua. When restructuring better still resource control had been the major agitation of right thinking southern people. The fear of the Northern elites of loosing their major source of pillaging from resources that belongs to the other parts of the country was and is still a major worry to them ,hence thier resistance to resource control or restructuring. In retrospect ,what resources has the North developed that contributes to the national purse? The rest of the country has seen through their plots and they are jittery. I fear it may even be extreemly difficult to vote in any northerner of fulani extractionin the future. The south has woken up.

"The CNG also accused the southern governors of unfairly profiling the business community of herders as the cause of the security challenges in the region"
grin The north also unfairly profiled the businesses of beer sellers when you created hisbah to single out beer bottles for destruction.

How do this people reason??

What do they take the south for??

After taking share from oil revenue from South... You still want to bring cows down here..

Lord lugard made a heavy mistake

We seriously need to renegotiate our arbitral 'unity', because it seems as though we are falling apart by the day because i don't understand the connection between myself and someone who shares a different religious and social ideology.
It is obvious that crude oil is the only factor binding us together and i hate that fact. Take your cows to Kano state because Governor Wike will not hesitate in seizing and slaughtering them if you default just as he did during the lockdown last year. We all hailed him when he faced IPOB in Oyibo so i know we all will hail him when he deals with defaulting herders.

MemoriesAndMe:
The south banned open grazing of cattle, the North is considering banning free movement of humans. Are they equal?

Sometimes I wish pigs can be grazed like cows and southerners grazed many pigs to the north where pigs aren't liked. Lets see what the situation would be in that case.
Pigs are rared in Christians community in north, in southern kaduna they rear pigs

No, they are self-centered, they do not care for other except themselves. When they stop beer in their state the southner did not talk and they see it as so cool. I want the southern to pack the pigs inside over fifty trailers and taking them to North and dropping them in every Northern states maybe they will also accept it as we accept cows too.

There's no hope for Nigeria, needs to break up .

You guys should quit blaming the UK. This amalgamation happened in 1914. Nigerians have had enough time to correct the mistake but have refused to take action.
The Nigeria/Biafra war was an opportunity to correct the mistake but you guys actually resisted breaking the useless union.
Buhari's tribalism and nepotism and the Fulani militants have provided another opportunity. Will you guys seize the opportunity this time or spend your time castigating those that are trying to leave the hell hole?

But the hisbah police in the North is called?
Don't mind the fools. Hisbah go all over the North destroying investments of Southerners in the brewery/liquor industry running into billions of Naira. Southerners kept quiet but these fools can come out to talk because there's ban on open grazing in the South which is a proactive step in forestalling the evils of their marauding Fulani killer brothers.
