CONCRETE MEASURES MUST BE PUT IN PLACE TO OPEN CATTLE REARING BUSINESS TO SOUTHERNERS.

The world is dynamic we just have to bring in new players.

Many of us know that the northern cabals will not be happy to see the south learn the secret of the trade.

But that is their own headache.

As for the herdsmen they should realise that Buhari will not be at the presidency for much longer time to protect their so called interest.

States governor from the southern part of Nigeria have met and a communique was issued banning open grazing in the southern part of Nigeria.

Cattle business should now be open to players from the south under the ranching system.

It is not a surprised the northern political leaders at the federal level are kicking against the ranching system.

Must governor and fg give you money , how much is 76b that you can't raise as a former gov and a serving senator. writer a promissory note to the bank that all your entitlement as former Governor should be uses to services the loan.During that period the ranches would be generating it's own money on a BREAK EVEN before optimal production level /profit.

Your argument was the government focusing too much on cattle, not bush so stop switching, even sef, the FG came up with solutions to establish animal husbandry ranches with free money, but tribalists, bigots and anti-government elements rejected.

The Southern governors with their pontifications ad gatherings, did they come up with their own solutions or plans to establish ranches in the South? No.

How lost and confused can you all be, all you know how to do is wail and complain , but you lack ideas and solutions.

God bless you.

Rugaria:

You are actually the one who's shallow here.
The question makes sense.
If the government wants to revolutionize cattle farming in a way thst it will generate enough foreign exchange for the country, they know what to do. It's simple. They have to make policies that are genuinely specific to such area in a way that's not sectional or politicized with ulterior motives...

But when they government starts using cattle farming as an excuse to unload a generation of violent ijiots on steroids from different parts of Africa all over the country, encouraging them to kill and maim while they continue to rear cattle in the most primitive way possible, folks have the right to question the motives. Since the beginning of this administration, all we hear is cattle and Ruga, yett there's no reasonable progress, rather what we see is violence..
A guy was telling me the Nigeria police can work if they really wants to, I believe him because he gave me some cases as examples.
Same thing goes with our law makers, they know exactly what to do but because there is an agenda they won't. The people (the governors and senators) we thought will speak against them are still dancing to their tune.

What kind of question is this when countries all over the world are aggressively fighting trade wars over cattle and meat, hundreds of billions of dollars global meat rade.

Small New Zealand exports $9 Billion worth of Cattle meat in one year alone, more than our overall export.

Sometimes the government is not the problem in Nigeria, it's ignorance and the shallow mentality of the unexposed average Nigerian that is the problem.
Seems like we have been deceived for long in Nigeria.
80% of the cattle killed for consumption in Nigeria are actually imported. Strictly fulani business.
Imported from their brothers all over Africa.

Those behind cattle business in Nigeria have only one agenda; to grab land and dominate others. They're not interested in loans from banks to build ranches, to improve their business and create employment.

Meanwhile Rochas built more statues than ranches (if he built any) while he was governor. This is not specific to cattle business.

Its for mediocres like him that find themselves in power that Nigeria has untapped potentials in cattle, fishing, poultry, other animal husbandry, cocoa, agriculture in general, mining and all.

He made a mistake going into politics. We all have a role to play in this world. It does not have to be politics.

Funso Williams had no business in politics either.

You are not giving away any land, the land is your investment to create an animal husbandry industry in your own state to generate income, jobs and IGR for you and your people, even the billions to kick off the project with is free, but all because of ignorance, tribalism and bigotry, you denied yourself a golden opportunity to progress, develop, to create jobs and generate IGR.

My argument all along is that cattle rearing is a private business and those engaging in it should provide themselves with all they need like other private businesses, why should your gov't want to take people's land by force and give to a certain people? Why are you all jittery about only one meeting by these governors and what they decided? Why will this gov't establish ranchese with public money for people's private use whitout doing so for others? Things like you are the real bigots and the real problem of this shot hole, and the reason you are seen as shit hole by the sane countries od the world

RUGA: Danish Company invests $100 million to boost milk production

https://nairametrics.com/2019/09/10/ruga-danish-company-invests-100-million-to-source-milk-in-nigeria/

This is your own opinion because the private sector including you are not interested in ranching so it is the job of the government to lead by example, to establish ranches, create the necessary conducive environment for private investors to step in.

The government in Kaduna did not wait for the private sector to show up, they established RUGA, came up with a plan, and invested their time, energy, and money to prep RUGA, now they are reaping the reward with foreign investors rolling in to take advantage of the government's RUGA plan

The Kaduna state government established their own RUGA and quickly, foreign investors jumped in to invest $100 Million to boost dairy production.

Smart governors look at progress, development, and economic gains instead of the lazy, noisy and lack of ideas bigots and tribalists in the south looking at everything from shallow and bigoted points of view instead of rolling their sleeves and working hard to come up with concrete and long-lasting solutions to turn the south into a major livestock zone.

You noisy people in the south don't have RUGA or any livestock policy so investors won't be showing up to invest 1kob or create 1 job in the south.

Just imagine, you wail, complain and shout Fulani herders endlessly, but you still can not come up with any sensible ideas and solutions.

What a sad shame.
