They keep asking what we call “Magic Questions"
Like,
“What would you do if you could be God for a day?”
Really?
No serious candidate would be thrilled with such questions.

When you’re interviewing someone, you should focus on finding out if they can do the job.
That’s it.
Try to learn more about their skills, knowledge, interests, experience, and character.
If you go overboard with your creativity during the interview, you won’t make a good impression

Good one but the most important thing is this: give transport fare to people who come for interviews. Around 90% of them borrowed money to attend the interview; map out money for people coming for interview, light entertainment and transport money e get why.

Online job sites is a nightmare.

The times I've tried it, the CVs I got made me want to pull my hair out.

You see an ad for a COO (Chief Operating Officer) requiring 10 years of experience, and people fresh out of NYSC will be applying.


Or you see a job title "Financial Controller" a person knows they've got no idea what the role is about, yet they'll be applying.

It's annoying. I almost wish there was a penalty.
