Adamu Garba, a former presidential aspirant, has reacted to the death of Boko Haram leader, Abubakar Shekau.

Garba said Shekau’s death was a lesson to Nnamdi Kanu, leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB and Sunday Adeyemo also known as Igboho.

Shekau was reportedly killed after a clash between his men and fighters of the Islamic State West Africa Province (ISWAP).

A situation report (SITREP) had confirmed Shekau’s death on Wednesday evening during a battle for supremacy.

The report said ISWAP fighters, led by its commander, Bana Duguri, stormed the Sambisa hideout of Boko Haram and demanded that the terrorist leader surrender his position.

He was said to have refused and blew himself up to avoid being captured alive.

DAILY POST learned that the Nigerian military and intelligence agencies are aware of Shekau’s death

Reacting, Garba said the dreaded terrorist leader should have been stoned to death on live television.

The former All Progressives Congress, APC, presidential aspirants stated this in a tweet.

He wrote: “My only concern with Shekau’s dead is on him having the liberty to chose how he died.

“He should have been stoned to death by villagers at Doron Baga Market square on live TV, under the supervision of the Nigerian Military for all to see.

“That will send a message to Kanu and Igboho.”

Igboho is no more than an illitrate thug.I can never support him.Cownu is just a coward terrorist.. what most people don't know is that, Buhari doesn't regard igboho as a threat at all..The guy is only trying to get cheap popularity and financial gain.. Majority of Top politicians, top traditional and religious leaders in both the North, SW and SE and not in support of their agitation,so they are wasting their time.. Ojuchkwu's chase is an example.

Am a northerner but I don't support Fulani domination of every sector of the Country. If Nigeria disintegrate today, the Fulani will have just a tiny chunk of Land which would be under dispute with their host community. That is why you will notice Fulani are quickly used to aligning on religious ground because they know that is what they can use to gain sympathy.

They all reason alike no matter their level of education. Comparing a terrorist with those fighting for a legitimate cause. Same way they tried fruitless to justify boko haram by comparing them to militancy in the south south.

They ve a plan and are deliberate about it, they intend to institutionalise their plan through this fulani regime that is why they are so furious, whenever they notice any form of resistance.
