Memory lane! Some of us had one friend we hardly can forget remembering a certain time in our lives. Back then in secondary school, I had this very close friend that we were too into each other. We walked quite a distance to school everyday and returned together too. We were in same level. Chai! Unfortunately we are no longer together today. What has changed over time, I don't seem to get. We are even living in same city now but we no longer call, see or relate with each other again. I guess there's time for everything. We have to move on. 16 Likes

There was this particular day at school we won the competition on "how best do u know ur best friend" after graduation from school we both especially I cry the whole clouds but now nko?? I graduated from secondary school over 10 years ago but there's always this my friend that I have always kept contact with.... We are not as close as we were in school due to the fact that we are all struggling to make ends meet but we still talk from time to time. |

Trust me moments like this are unforgettable, and the funny thing about the friends we made at this age, either u lost contact with them or u not in talking terms with them, but you can't seems to forget them ur whole life they still bring back good memories 2 Likes |

Yeah, mine was a girl, Jessica, she was my best friend back then in primary school, she relocated to another state, since then haven't heard from her. In secondary, I had friends Mustapha, Joseph, Emeka and God's power. Even in college it was Suleiman and Blessing(girl) But it was just that. We've gone our separate ways and truthfully I tend to forget people easily, it's one of my bad characters I don't have control over. 1 Like |

Moments like this reminds me of my bosom friend back then,our friendship was so strong such that our family became family friends, Some months back,I introduced my girlfriend to him and my guy claimed she has dated his own friend............. That marks the beginning to the end of our friendship no calls no text nothing at all |

Lol...I just remembered my old friend when I was in JSS1 those days... because of the distance of our school we students pay #40 each for going and same #40 for coming back but guess what... After dismissal ,we use the remaining rubbers to buy ice cream and wait for free lift... Thank God we didn't fall into wrong hands It's was really fun those days but mind you that's not everyday 2 Likes |

Mine was shola. Never heard from him for several decades. You're right, people like these, you just find it difficult to erase them off your mind. I remember when I broke my legs during a football game. My leg was placed in plaster of Paris for several weeks. Sola would always knock on our gate every morning, back me to school and when we close, back me home. Childhood friendship is the sweetest. I've searched all social media for him, no trace. I even once paid a visit to the hood I grew in as a child. Of course I never expected him to still be there but at least I was thinking I would find one or two people or families who stayed in that hood during that period but I was wrong. Some had died, some travelled out of the country, some have made it and are living the dream elsewhere, some migrated to another state decades ago, some are still struggling for sure. The hood was a shadow of itself, strange faces and buildings everywhere. Shola I know you've been searching for me too. One day I'll find you. 13 Likes |

Had a friend like this, Uzoma back then in Junior sec. school. He always had my back no matter what, played together and all that.. There was even a time we fought.....lol but we made up immediately the following day... Good times. Lost contact after i moved out and changed school to a different environment, We later reconnected through FB years after , but again lost contact till now... Though i saw a relative of his three years ago and asked how he was doing and all that. |
