The quantum ignorance embedded in this your uncanny outburst is so startling, I don't even know where to begin to help you..
Do you know what it means to be called a "General"? Do you know about the training, the education, the investments and experience needed to reach that level? Or are you advocating for the Buhari and Babangida years of appointing 20 years old as army Generals?

Wise man, so because they have been trained they should not retire or die again?
The point is nobody is indisposable

With all the training and experience, why are we still having Boko haram 20 years on

Let them go so new fresh blood will be brought in , wasn't that you peoples argument for change of service chiefs? Now those service chiefs are gone you have come up with tribal and religious sentiments.

You peoples hypocrisy stinks to high heaven

Dude,
Army Generals are not Army corporals..
You spend time, resources and education to get to that level, unless ofcourse if you are a Quota System General..

Again, Folks wanted a change of service Chiefs and not the liquidation of the army..
Fresh blood?
Experience matters in battle field...

You are something else..

Basically decapitating an Army that's currently fighting serious wars in different fronts of extremely well trained senior Army officers, just because he wants to put a man who will help him rig the coming elections! This man is unbelievable..

Before he died, the last Chief of Army staff talked about reducing the qualifications needed to be recruited into the army because of low enrollment! He also called for retired soldiers to be ready to be called back into action! Essentially, what it means is that the army is running short on manpower and needs help...

So what did a queer Commander In Chief do afterwards? Fire more Generals because he needs his "Choice Chief of Army staff"! You know what? Buhari is not yet done,.. by the time he's done dealing with this country, if you guys see "nkîta", you will call it "mpûta"..
how many Generals did Obasanjo retired in 1999?

When you weaken the ranks and files of the armed forces and civil services with this kind of appointments base on religious and tribal sentiment, and not merit and seniority, you have succesfully killed all aspirations for efficiency, commitment, patrotism and dedication to duty in nations workforce, with the resultant effect of sleezing, corruption, insecurity, economic collaps, break down of law and order and failure of governance as we'r seeing today in Nigeria, consequences of having a bigot in power,Nigeria is indeed in trouble.
what did the constitution say on this? Take him to court or shut up.

Y wont there be most Moslem, because he does not want people to feel like its only christians he bypassed

In the period of 1996 to 2008 (12 years), Nigeria changed the Chief of Army Staff six times and back to back they were Christians.

The interesting thing is that the 6 COAS in this period was evenly distributed North and South. Three from the North and there from the South, yet the Southern COAS were all Christians and meticulously, the Northern COAS were also all Christians. Coincidence? Maybe but then Muslims did not complain.

Then for two years a Muslim was there. Followed by another 6 years of COAS who were Christians, before Buhari came in.

You see, when they want to say a Christian should be COAS they introduce religion into a military Chief's appointment. But when you show them why a Muslim should be COAS by their own argument of balance, they hurriedly run to "leave religion out of this"

Scammers.

This then points to the fact that the report is misleading. He bypassed southerners and Northerners whose religious affiliations I can't confirm. In Sahara's zealousness to paint the FG bad, they have most likely missed the real reason why he was appointed.
wat do u think is the real reason, the army is force that respects seniors...y then do you the second most highest officer who is an igbo...to appoint he general who is far behind him...buhari govt is highly tribalistic....

At the top it becomes political.....I am not against the fact that it could be a selection based on tribal sentiments, what I am saying is Sahara reporters jumping to the conclusion they reached shows that they had sinister motives and were not reporting as journalists that should always report truths. The report is very mischievous and had only one role which is to cause chaos and heat up the polity.

Now I am not worried about Sahara reporters doing this, what I am worried about is that we have a lot of people that don't see beyond all these type of mischievous stories. This is why politicians have been able to manipulate the populace so well.
