Inline with the data from Femi Adesina, Presidential Spokesman, Former President Goodluck Jonathan had in advance met with the key political actors beforehand of the meeting of ECOWAS leaders underneath the Chairmanship of President Nana Akufo-Addo of the Republic of Ghana.
President Muhammadu Buhari welcomed the former President Jonathan, who is a unique Envoy and ECOWAS mediator to the Republic of Mali, in Aso Rock on Friday.
Presidential Spokesman said that the assembly of the nearby leaders was necessary to urgently discover a suitable way to the present day deadlock in the West African country.
