Good morning dear nairalnaders.

I am appealing to everyone who can help me to kindly do so as I will like to leave my imprints on the soil of this organization.

I have just been tipped by the MD of my company to fill the vacant position of INVENTORY MANAGER. Before now, I was and still am, a warehouse officer II. Though I am not afraid to assume responsibilities but I want everyone who has a knowledge of this position to guide me. I will like to design a material tracking system for my organisation within the first 100 days in office; but don't know how to go about it. What other files or register do I need to create as the person in charge of inventory.

Please mods help me move this to front page for wider views. I cannot afford to fail in this task. Note: my organization employed a manager about two months ago for this very position but relieved her of the job because of underperformance. She has well over 15 years experience be yet couldn't perform. Now I am coming in to fill the position after a one year experience as a warehouse officer. Please all of you should help me. I am willing to learn. And I wi still come back her to appreciate everyone of you.

Mod kindly move to FP.

Inventory officer job is mainly about keeping track of goods in the company's warehouse.
Anyway, the elders in this forum will give a better advise.
I am a graduate of Statistics from University of Ibadan. I'm in need of a job please. I reside in Ibadan but don't mind relocating to Lagos, Abeokuta or Osun state to work. Please help me, anybody.
