Some daredevil armed men were reportedly on a rampage in Ikire and Apomu in Irewole and Isokan local government areas of Osun state, allegedly killing five persons in Ikire .

It was gathered that the armed robbers had earlier robbed a bank in Apomu town around 3pm before proceeding to Ikire where they killed three persons at a commercial bank automated teller machine.

Also, two other persons were said the have been killed in the community during the sporadic shooting.

Police spokesperson, Yemisi Opalola while confirming the incident said she cannot confirm the casualty figure, but the Commissioner of Police, Olawale Olokode is already at the scene of the incident.

One problem too many...I pity people living outside SE as well...

Because security has been drafted to SE, by withdrawal of some manning some places outside the region...A lot of porous network here and there, and hoodlums will take advantage of the development to disturb.

Hmmmmmmm, I just tire for Naija security structure. Apomu was robbed then the robbers moved to Ikire to continue the robbery. There is even rumour that they went to the station to kill some police men after the robbery, still wondering how such is possible with the police not getting themselves prepared since the robbery went on for about 3hrs(3-6pm)

Let them trace well... at end, they will find out that it's fulani bandits that robbed and killed those people.

Meanwhile, the robbery operation lasted for 3 hours, yet no single police or soldier intervened. They are in the south east, flexing muscles... rubbish.

Their deaths will be terrible, same goes for the animals happy about this terrible incident.
